I'm a fan of a rival team who ended up in Boston for college...pretty much the worst scenario ever because all the kids I went to school with were bandwagon Patriots/Red Sox fans.

Thanks for that post, it made me google some and clearly it makes sense now as I found out there is quite a rivalry between Broncos and Patriots! And somewhat humiliating score for Broncos in the last game!

Except that there was never any speck of proof that they did. Goodell was the accuser and the judge. He found zero evidence but handed down a punishment. When Brady appealed an actual judge slammed Goodell and the NFL for their process and underlined the total lack of evidence. He overturned the suspension. Goodell appealed and the higher court decided that Goodell can punish anyone he wants, with or without evidence. In sum, if you believe Brady deflated footballs you are choosing to believe a story with no credible evidence. By the way, the football in question was thrown by Brady for an interception so nothing was gained by the alleged deflating.

OP, they’ve been shown to cheat multiple times, Brady is a trump supporter, and we are tired of seeing them play in the Super Bowl. No doubt they are a great team when they don’t cheat and Brady is a very talented quarterback but America is over them.

Everyone doesn’t hate the Patriots. Just Read some of the PP signed by their fans.

People root for their own team. If you are not a Patriot fan, then you root for your own team. If your team is not playing, then you root against the “team-that-always-beat-your-team” and that’s the Pats.p, because they’ve beaten everyone.

People like the underdog, the Cinderella story. That ain’t the Patriots.

+1 I know people were sick of deflategate but somehow all news stopped on it when it basically came out that there was no evidence, that the weather not only could cause deflation but would be expected to cause it. The judge that overturned Goodall said I know that I am not supposed to look at evidence because that is not the legal question but I cannot ignore--the is NO evidence whatsoever. It was made up and then Goodall go in too deep. There was no cheating!!
