We got into Dora Kennedy...we were in the Mid-30's on the waiting list.... How and why did the wait list move so fast? No siblings (or preference), we are grateful.

DKFI parent here- school families received a robocall last week explaining that the waiting list numbers noted online represented the numbers before sibling preference was applied. Apparently the school was getting a lot of calls from current families with siblings entering K and freaking out that they were on the waiting list according to the website. In your case, I guess siblings were given their spots, and your child was still high enough on the list that he/she also made it into the class. Congrats!

This is our 11th year with kids at DKFI. We've been happy with the school, and definitely appreciate that the kids become fluent in another language. Teachers are mostly good, some great, and some so-so (like most schools anywhere). Communication has gotten better over the last few years.

We are #2 preschool age 4 for Hanson Montessor.i There has not been any movement since it was first posted. Anyone know the chances that we will get in?
