Well put. It's insanity. Democrats are a dead party so they're stuffing the country with legals and illegals who they will eventually amnesty. But RINOs are complicit as well, their donors want to undercut manual labor at the bottom and white collar tech workers at the top.

Seasonal guest worker program for farm or similar workers. Decent pay, health care, registration and check ins, send money back home. No anchor babies - though provisions for education of children registered with these families. And thats it. Everyone comes legally.

Regardless of age? Can anyone who is an illegal immigrant avail himself of a free education, even at the age of 20 or 21, or 30 or 31? (Nice way for pedophiles to chummy up to kids.) The cost to educate non-English speaking illegal immigrants is putting a big burden on school budgets, and I can't image we are required to provide a high school education even to adults (which, at 18, the older rapist was).

Whatever age guidelines apply to citizens also apply to non-citizens. A natural born American who can trace his American ancestry fifteen generations back can enter high school at 18 as a freshman. Therefore, so can undocumented 18 year olds.

The bolded is what needs to change. The rights afforded to citizens of this country should *not* be afforded to people who are here illegally. Period. I also find it curious that you, and liberals in general, actually advocate FOR the "rights" of illegal immigrants. Why is this? What's the point of becoming a citizen if one can be taken care of and educated simply by living here illegally? I will never understand why liberals think this is ok, and actually encourage illegal immigrants to move to the U.S.

This is exactly right. I was wondering how much money will be spent defending this guy in court, keeping him locked up, mental evaluations, interpreters, etc. Why isn't he simply deported, and his country of origin stuck with trying and jailing him? Why are we paying all of these costs? Complete insanity.

I know there are people who are saying this is a rape incident - not an illegal immigration incident.

My spouse and I were talking. If our daughter had been raped like this young girl (people are calling her a young woman - she is not - she is a girl), I truly don’t know what my reaction would be. I think someone would have to restrain me. And, to think that it would not have happened had these young men NOT been in our country would be something I would yell from the streets and to my representatives.

The bottom line is that this young girl will have to live with this for the rest of her life when it could have been avoided if these men were not in her school and in our country.
That is what I would be unable to overcome.

I pray she gets the help, the counseling, and everything she needs to live a fairly normal life. The poor child.

This is what Maryland has come to... MoCo public schools used to be a model of an extraordinarily well-run school system. Now we have active MS-13 cells in the schools, police officers dedicated to schools, and now this horrific rape. We need to clean house in the next election. The very fact our state government seeks sanctuary status for the ENTIRE STATE is a slap in the face to this girl, her family, and all the other victims of crimes created by these illegal "students" Not to mention, geographically, the state is mostly red, its the citizens here in MoCo, PG and Baltimore that create this nonsense and force it on the whole state. Guarantee if these guys pulled this crap in Western Maryland they would end up buried in a strip mine and no one would say a word.
