This is a horrible crime. The national news reports both rapists are illegal and the victim was sodomized and raped. Legal, illegal, whatever... Lock them up and throw away the key.

MoCo has become a sewer - sad since I grew up there. Fairfax isn't quite as bad but is well on its way. We moved 3 years ago and now live among the sane and rational.

I didn't see an updated article about the crime on the Post, but I found one on Fox news. It was a very disturbing read. That poor 14-year girl and her family. I can't even imagine. I think that my eyes are opening to more of the problems with illegal immigrants. I fully support legal immigration. However, I do not want my kids going to 9th grade with 18 years old that arrived here illegally and don't speak English.

Okay, "Does what happened in Rockville have an impact on national issues?" No. The current administration is already strongly opposed to sanctuary cities and undocumented immigrants. It's possible they are hiding the legality of the other rapist (age 17) due to minority status.
