I hope this does not give another black eye to Landon.

Wouldn't it be interesting to see Ganzler's party pics?

Doug Gansler's campaign is pretty much toast.

I graduated in 92 and don't remember 3/4 of beach week. The 1/4 was a blast though

People directing it towards Landon are just trying to bring a good school down. Seniors drink from prep schools to Midwest white schools to inner city schools. It will never change. He was stupid to be involved though.

As for Landon boys having a party after graduation, during beach week...really - you guys have nothing better to do than to try and put this out as only as Landon thing? Before you accuse me of protecting Landon - trust me, I'm no fan of the school (or single sex environments in general), but to suggest that Landon kids are the only ones celebrating their graduation during beach is more than short-sighted!

It was not photoshopped. If it was, Gansler would have said so.

The funny thing is that he said, when asked by a Post reporter, that he was NOT taking a photo. Instead, he was reading a text. Yeah, when I read a text on my phone, I hold it far away from me. LOL. Just admit you were taking a photo of your son and/or other kids.

I am same age as Gansler and I have to hold my phone that far away to read it when I am not wearing glasses.

Do you also position yourself in the middle of a bunch of drunk teenagers?

It's called grinding, and it's still nasty.

Do agree with you on this one. But, I think that Landon just sahke that nasty image that has been attached to it. Unfotantely, its just not getting anybetter.

People don't need to "try" to bring this "good" school down. They do a fantastic job of that on their own

Ahem --Doug Gansler is among the "notable" alum of the Sidwell Friends School
Anonymous
I guess Sidwell is resposible for continuing to graduate uber-entitled alums lacking in moral foundation? I hope this doesn't give another black eye to Sidwell.

I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who doesn't care that it was a Landon party or that Gansler graduated from Sidwell.

The only thing I care about is what this says about Gansler's judgment.

This comment says far more about you than about Sidwell. Give it a rest.

Okay ladies, none of you drank alcohol after you graduated high school?? I sure did.

How would this hurt Landon. There are kids in every public and private school that drink and beach week has been going on since the 80's. Schools do not have cameras on their kids 24/7 do they? Why would Landon be at fault?

We are an alcohol obsessed society and it sadly starts at a young age. Nothing good happens when you are drunk no matter your age. Just because it is mainstream does not make it a positive influence. We are a society full of alcoholics, binge drinkers, drunk drivers, drug addicts and it all starts for many when they are teenagers. It takes a strong parent to go against the tide of mainstream culture and tell their kid that they should not be drinking.
