I hope this does not give another black eye to Landon.

Typical Landon response. Instead of being introspective and fixing problems that are deep rooted in the school, deflect and deny is the method they employ.

Disgusting.

High school kids getting drunk at parties is a problem that is deep-rooted in Landon School, specifically?

This could happened at any school. But Gansler seems to find new ways to step in every week.

No, but juvenile behavior is. As is "sweeping it under the rug" by their parents.

So Landon is really the only school that acts like this?

read the part about the parents angry at their kid getting caught by the police.

For all of you that think this is just a Landon issue read on and see the difficulties all Maryland parents face regarding beach week.

Ladies your focus is misdirected. Gansler is the best qualified and experienced of the candidates for gov. His policies and ideas are in line with a large majority of dc area residents. Step back from your pettiness and start supporting the best candidate!

Could he step back from CONSTANTLY providing the distractions? The guy is a disaster - his actions are causing the focus off his policies.

Character is destiny. Somebody who abuses his power in petty ways (too big, too good to be in a traffic jam?) should not be rewarded with more power. Sorry. And the sexism of this particular post is not a great argument in his favor (it's annoying enough that I'd almost expect it to be an opposition plant!).

No doubt that drinking among teens is pervasive and not simply limited to Landon...have to admit that fair point. However, there is also no doubt that there is a culture problem at Landon. Constant issues there and of coruse this comment will solicit all kind of attacks from the queen bees but you can attack all you want..you simply cannot run from the facts...that school has got issues.

As for Landon boys having a party after graduation, during beach week...really - you guys have nothing better to do than to try and put this out as only as Landon thing? Before you accuse me of protecting Landon - trust me, I'm no fan of the school (or single sex environments in general), but to suggest that Landon kids are the only ones celebrating their graduation during beach is more than short-sighted!

It was not photoshopped. If it was, Gansler would have said so.

The funny thing is that he said, when asked by a Post reporter, that he was NOT taking a photo. Instead, he was reading a text. Yeah, when I read a text on my phone, I hold it far away from me. LOL. Just admit you were taking a photo of your son and/or other kids.

I am same age as Gansler and I have to hold my phone that far away to read it when I am not wearing glasses.
