Thanks for your refreshing honesty--assuming you're for real. I would love to know, if I may ask: besides how Trump has addressed your concern about immigration, how do you feel about everything else he has said and done? And, do you feel that, in the end, it's all justified as long as he continues his campaign to rid the country of all migrants who are not here legally? |

We’re watching it happen again.
• The Dream Act of 2025 • The HIRES Act • Expanded H-1B pipelines • Citizenship pathways tied to temporary labor All while we’re told there is a “tech worker shortage.” Yet Americans see something very different: • Mass layoffs • Hiring freezes • Jobs reposted as contract roles • Replacement through outsourcing firms • Wages flat for a decade And social media floods the feed insisting none of this is real. That’s not persuasion. That’s gaslighting. When Congress tells voters their lived experience is wrong, skepticism isn’t extremism. It’s pattern recognition. We have seen this movie before. This season, Americans should watch their representatives closely and confront them when the narrative breaks from reality. It has been nearly a century since Congress last passed a major labor law that clearly favored American workers over foreign labor pipelines. Today, we see lawmakers appearing at ITServe Alliance events, an organization whose stated mission advances large-scale outsourcing. Those appearances are not accidental, and they do not happen without political incentives attached. Americans are paying attention now. |
most of what Trump has done is awful. He is awful. but he stopped DEI and he fixed the border. why cant Democrats focus on helping US citizens? |
| Open borders are kind and closed borders are cruel. Simple as. |
| We cannot compromise with Trump on this. The undocumented are every bit as American as any Trump voter |
| Trump’s great skill is getting Democrats to proclaim their opposition to him by taking positions that are poison with voters. Old school Dem leader like Clinton, Obama, and Sanders used to know and proclaim that illegal immigration is bad for labor, bad for wages, bad for employment, and bad for African Americans. But now every affluent progressive is a full-throated proponent of illegal immigrants getting to come, stay forever, get jobs, and get benefits paid for by taxpayers. This is why voters no longer like affluent progressives. They virtue signal by supporting very destructive, very unpopular policies. |
His great skill is getting suckers to believe things like there were invading caravans of people and people eating cats and dogs and illegals voting and getting government benefits. His single skill is identifying marks to take advantage of. |
Well, currently, Dems are the ones focusing on US citizens while Rs give a big middle finger to the LMC/MC by not approving ACA subsidies, and Trump is also giving a big F U to Americans by playing his tariff war and giving billions to Argentina, and claiming inflation is a Dem hoax, and he gets an A+++ for the economy. I think Biden played a losing hand by not paying attention to the border issue when he was elected, and I said so many times on here when he got elected, but I also knew and posted many times on here that Trump 2.0 was going to be far worse for this country than Biden or his first presidency. And oh look.. I was right. Not only does the job market stink worse than when Biden was in office, but prices have increased even more due to his stupid tariff policies, and his administration's human rights abuses are on par with third world country dictators. I guess that is all worth stopping "DEI", though. |
Rs treat their voters like they are stupid by pushing conspiracy theories, and make trans a big issue even as it doesn't impact the vast majority of us. |
| Democrats are hilariously stubborn. They accuse Trump of lying about the border and about Dem support for men in girls’ locker rooms, while simultaneously refusing to abandon their unpopular open border or trans sports policies. If these things weren’t really happening, then Dems shouldn’t have minded stopping them. Instead it’s just ridiculous gaslighting. |
| For years on this forum, when pointing out the deliberate actions of that administration regarding opening up the border, we were all accused as liars and extremists. Yet now, the exact things we were all pointing out, that the administration was creating the problem, are finally actually you know, actual. Well, it was all out in the open, and you all refused to believe your eyes and ears. Why? |
The unintended consequence of stopping DEI is that white men are no longer a protected class in college admissions. Wait for the balance to change to 75% of women and 25% of men, you know going by test scores, grades, essays, EC’s >> you know the most qualified. |

You know Trump is underwater on immigration when we have to trot out the whole “It’s all the Democrats fault we are living in Trump’s hellscape!”
The math ain’t mathing, billionaires. The immigrants are gone, but native born Americans are broker than ever. Wages going down, layoffs going up. Better be careful or they might figure out what you’re up to. |
It's true.. Dems turned a blind eye to the immigration issue, as Trump is refusing to admit that the economy sucks and people are suffering. |
No, the answer is that it did not matter what any democrat said about immigration because MAGA republicans live in an alternate reality of fake news and have zero interest in actually understanding the problems and solutions , they just wast fast and harsh. They are authoritarian and fascist and don’t like the slow pace of democracy, due process, or the immigration process. There is nothing true that a democrat could say to them that hey would believe or agree with. |
