Kamala Harris won 40% of 18-29 men without a college degree and 46% of 18-29 men with a college degree. Still lots of fish in that sea. |
Agree, but they will be coming for the morning after pill and possibly BC they consider an abortifacient. |
There is a 16 point gap between Gen Z men and women in the 2024 election. They don’t want the same things. |
There are more women than men. If women get too picky they'll end up childless cat ladies. |
Here’s the thing, why would you want to spend your life and have children with someone you don’t like when you don’t have to? This is part of the issue that’s happening. Women have the choice, and with the availability of that choice they are choosing not to marry, or only do so if they actually really like that person and not out of obligation. |
If they want more white babies to be born, all women and men need paid maternity / paternity leave, 20 days of leave per year for everyone, and lower cost high quality child care.
All the things Republicans hate. |
Late 20's single, childless cat lady here. Would much rather continue on this path than wake up next to MAGA every morning. |
Women don't need a husband to procreate, Dum Dum. This Trump plan is the incel's answer. |
But women would rather be alone and relatively content - maybe not fully happy, most people do ultimately want to be in a relationship with someone they love - than in an unhappy marriage with someone who thinks of them as a tool, an appliance, a therapist, and a warm hole … but not a fully fleshed out human. Which is how a lot of young men see women. |
DP- We know what a Ponzi scheme looks like. If you truly believe in climate change, reducing the population of the US should be the goal. |
+1. I was a full time Fed with FT telework since COVID and guaranteed for the next 5 years in our union contract. I’m eligible to retire in 6 years. We had planned to put our house in the DMV on the market… right about now actually (one kid still in a VA State College. She gets a one year grace period on in state tuition and is a rising senior, so this was the year we were finally free to move). And had planned to move to a more rural area of NC, where we have friends and I could be near my aging parents. And almost certainly pay cash for a decent house from the equity we have— and offset the pay decrease from moving. Now, im back in two days a week. They can’t make it work and are going back to none. But it could become 5. It’s so up in the air. I’m in the DMV for the next six years. I won’t risk moving even if we get telework back, because I now know my union contract is worth nothing and I can’t rely on the federal governments promises. But yeah, honoring remote telework opens the door for people with good paying jobs to relocate to lower COL, more rural areas. |
Ha! Don't threaten them with a good time! |
Really. What is wrong with these DCUM folks? Are they all that naive? There is no good reason to increase the birth rate |
Good luck with sperm banks. Who knows who's seed they'll get. Imagine if MAGA incels decided to repeatedly donate? They can't keep catching it in a sock. |
Do any of the young men in your extended family feel this way? This is the type of hyperbolic nonsense that leads to lonely, unhappy women in their 50s. |
