Maybe just be in the moment with the grandkids instead of thinking about people you don’t know on the internet?

Please don’t harm yourself or your children.

It's yours that I'm concerned about since you can't stop talking about hurting kids. Does that turn you on or something? Seek help.

No one in my family needs a bonus. The grandkids are already born anyway. Our very normal and happily married children make good money and wanted a family. I think it’s wonderful and I cherish every moment spent spoiling my grandkids.

DP. You're so happy in real life that you're on DCUM uterus-shaming random people. Make it make sense.

I’m honestly worried about your mental health and concerned about the wellbeing of your children. I hope you have access to mental health professionals.

I will defend PP. I stayed home with my kids because I couldn’t get a daycare spot. When my youngest started preschool, I went back to work. Well I interviewed for a year and a half. When I got a job offer it was for less money than I was making when I left the workforce 7 years earlier. It has been a constant battle to get higher paying jobs. After 11 years, I still make less than I would if I never left and I’m about 2 levels down from where I should be. Yes, there are costs to staying home with kids. I still love my kids but lying to women about the hit to career isn’t going to make things better. Your patronizing post just ignores the systemic problem and shames PP for speaking truth. As someone who has lived it, STFU!

PP already knows this. S/he is that sadly ubiquitous type of misogynist who thinks women's burdens aren't important or relevant. We're vessels and tools to be used and discarded.

Maybe you’re right and I have it reversed? Single moms voted for Trump and married folks preferred Kamala? I know there was a huge gap in how married parents voted in how single moms voted/-it was a major statistical takeaway from the election. But I can’t remember which direction the difference was in.

Democrats hate voter stats, because they don’t support Democrat delusions of grandeur. The Democrats are overwhelmingly favored by inner city folks, unemployed folks, welfare folks, LGBTQIA+ folks, and yes, unwed single mothers. And yet the party still lost. Because married, employed homeowners outside of a few blue city areas overwhelmingly vote Republican. This doesn’t “feel” good to dcurbanmom types, so most deliberately avoid voter statistics and remain blissfully unaware of them by choice.

The problem is that a good part of eligible age voters don’t vote. Also Democrats have to appeal to more interest because people are single issue voters which is ridiculous

Again it’s hard for preening Democrats to face the truth. Actually, voter turnout has surged much higher because of Trump. Trump, Biden, and Harris are the biggest vote getters BY FAR in American history, with their tens of millions of extra votes vs the Clintons, Obamas, and Bushes of the world MUCH larger in percentage terms than the modest increase in eligible voters. And the biggest single issue voters BY FAR are pro-choice Democratic women. Most women I know from my prestigious college are single issue abortion voters.

You seem mentally stable. I'm sorry things didn't turn out the way you would have hoped professionally.

It’s fine, the voters are who they are. I just think it’s funny that dcurbanmom types cling to the myth that Democrats are on average more intelligent, better educated, and higher income than Republicans when the opposite is true.

dcurbanmom Dems want to imagine themselves as fancy moral crusaders who are only losing to Trump because of a few redneck bad apples, instead of facing the fact that, Democrats are voting AGAINST most employed married homeowners and WITH the unemployed, the ex-cons, the single moms, and the childless LGBTQIA+ obsessives.

After Republicans win the Presidency again in 2028, a non-trivial number of power- and status-seeking dcurbanmoms will switch parties. But for now, they are in a funny #resistance and delusion bubble.

Wait I thought Republicans were the oppressed, the poor, the downtrodden?

Also by the way everyone is having fewer kids anymore: https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/23/health/birth-rates-cdc.html

And the main thing contributing to population decline is that teenagers aren't having babies anymore. Let's see who runs on a platform of getting white teens to have babies. I can guess!

The biggest single issue in 2020 was getting Trump out of there - which is why mediocre candidate Joe Biden got a record 81 million votes (48% of all registered voters), a slightly higher percentage than Obama, the most talented Democrat in a generation, got in his highest turnout election (47.5% in 2008).

Their plan is to impoverish most of us, so Peter Thiel and friends can have it all. Their cult leader, Curtis Yarvin, suggested that poor people be turned into biofuel.

You have good points, but they have no interest in doing anything you suggest. They do not want to be helpful.

You describe Klaus Schwab and his World Economic Forum.

“Let them eat ze bugs.”

“You will own nothing, and you will be happy.”

Y’all can shove it.
