Dating outside your “career level”

Eh I find it very hard to believe they ITA really about her career.

She’s probably not as beautiful or sexy as he’d ideally like and that’s what’s holding him back. But that is not socially acceptable to say so he uses the easy excuse of her career because it’s objective and obvious.

You might consider her pretty but remember that attractiveness is personal. Perhaps they lack chemistry.

Ime, unmarried men tend to be much more romantic about women. They need to be head over heels in order to move forward in a serious way. Which means he needs to be addicted to the sex they’re having and feel lucky to have her on his arm.

Sexist yes but I hear this from men all the time.
