. Of course she doesn’t, but that is why it is a kind act- she doesn’t owe it to anyone and does it out of generosity and solidarity. |
| If she was generous, she would tour more in the US so more of her fans have a chance to see her live without flying across the ocean. She would also invite less privileged fans to her shows. Seeing photos of her with celebrity’s kids at her shows doesn’t give warm fuzzies. |
I’m the PP posting from Vienna. Today was the first I’ve seen police presence. I would hardly call it overrun. It was really beautiful listening to the group of Swifties singing in the shopping square today. Very uplifting. We took the U (metro) and felt perfectly safe. |
Speaking as a huge Swiftie, there is literally nothing I would appreciate less as a gesture than a recorded video show as a makeup. Her biggest fans have seen thousands of concert videos already. We don’t need another one. |
She’s doing at least 50 shows in the United States. How many do you expect? Also, she is a business. Not a charity. No one is entitled to see a Taylor Swift show. It’s a ridiculous line of thinking. |
You know that *every* entertainer does this, right? |
+1 The pouty attitude that somehow she should give things away for free is pretty pathetic. She’s already a huge philanthropist. |
DP. You are ridiculous. |
Well at least I can suggest it without tossing out being all mean girl angry and defensive Pathetic, bozo, pouty - ha |
If she were generous? She's given 2 years of her life to this tour and given millions to food banks in each city along the way. She used to invite fans into her home for special sessions. Then the stalkers, threats, etc. She's too famous for all of that now. |
If you don’t want to pay for the Disney+ version there are tons of full length Eras show free YouTube videos from many of the cities. The ERAS tour is not something she can replicate from her house. I don’t know when you think she’d have a block of time to create some special show to record for the Vienna ticket holders. |
I’m sorry. I am no big fan, but my first thought was I felt terrible for all the people who were going to miss it, especially the young girls. |
| Sure its disappointing when a concert or event you wanted to go to is cancelled but that is life. Anyone who is more than disappointed has skewed priorities in life. Concerts get cancelled on a semi regular basis. It isn't rare. It happens. All it means is you miss out on a couple hours of live music. Disappointing but that is it. |
| Man, the trolling on this thread is insane. |
That really sucks. |
