She will most definitely reschedule |
I hope she does. It is going to be difficult, especially knowing that so many fans traveled to these shows. It was the right decision but it is so sad that it happened at all. |
I don’t think she will. That’s not something that can be done in any short amount of time - those stadiums are booked well in advance - and the tour officially ends in a few months. I don’t think she’ll go back to Europe just for one city. There’s not time to reschedule. |
| We are in Vienna. Grateful we have a canceled concert vs the alternative. I have seen very little security or police presence compared to other European cities but I’m glad they thwarted this attack. Swifties will be ok. I prefer my kids to focus on the heartbreak of missing the concert over the fear of what could have taken place. They don’t need that kind of anxiety. |
+1 she is booked through the rest of the year – and the short time she has off is dedicated to other appearances already planned. Rescheduling does nothing for the people who already traveled to Vienna. It’s a sunk cost at this point. Tickets refund, but obviously not flights, hotel, etc. |
Absolutely! So glad your family is safe!🫶🏼 |
I’m so sorry. I traveled to another European city for the concert and I would have been devastated to be in your shoes. You have a great attitude, though, and I hope you make the best of your trip! |
| What monsters, targeting a stadium full of little girls. |
Uh oh...exits thread |
| A travel expert on Kelly and Mark today was raving that he got a great air deal to go to the concert in Vienna. Bummer for him. |
|
…because Isis and other extremists hate Taylor Swift and the positive western values she embodies.
^^^ Take note: threatening an attack on a concert in the name of your religion or politics is bananas. Indefensible. |
Agreed. |
I am a swiftie in a house of swifties. I don’t know that Taylor/her fans were the “targets” so much as it was an event and location that met their needs. Huge crowds of westerners, announced months ago (plenty of time to plan) and plenty of distraction with the olympics going on. I feel awful for everyone who was looking forward to this once in a lifetime event but am so thankful that officials were able to stop it from becoming a horrible reality. |
What did you tell your kids about the concert? |
Apparently PP declines to condemn terrorist attacks? Everything depends on how you look at it and "truth" is whatever your belly button lint says it is? |
