This this this

People are heading to Hillsdale because of the controversies at places like Harvard, Penn, etc.

If you say so, luv

"Harvard sees applications for early admission drop by 17 percent over last year"

pretty sure this has more to do with the abysmal chances of admission than due to the "controversies."

Source?

Apps are up at Penn and Yale. Would think Penn apps would also be flagging if the case.

The thread question is pure absurdity.

Yes, Harvard admissions just had an emergency meeting about all the great applicants they are losing to Hillsdale.

Was that the college on that show "A Different World"?

Isn’t Hillsdale so desperate for applicants that it accepts all Bible thumpers? Is it as good as Patrick Henry College?

Evidence that it’s OK to slur Christians as “Bible thumpers”.

Do better.

Hillsdale’s acceptance rate is 21 percent. About the same as University of Michigan. It is becoming increasingly more respected as woke colleges have obvious problems with ideological capture based in progressive ideology and pedagogy, and Hillsdale offers a more classical curriculum and a more traditional approach to teaching. The problem with most elite institutions is that in most cases they are just as woke as Harvard. It isn’t that they aren’t good schools. It is that they are saying they are more devoted to social justice than to educating students how to think. Hillsdale doesn’t have this problem. It is the highest ranked non-woke school. Its stated purpose is not social justice. It is to equip students to be capable and moral citizens who can think for themselves.

DP. I'm a Christian and don't think it's a slur. Not all Christians are Bible thumpers! I posted earlier about being a Christian college grad and being suspect of the quality of education at Hillsdale. Restricting knowledge and substituting indoctrination is not education. It's an echo chamber for thumpers.

As long as they don't think that a man kissing a man is acceptable to any sky fairies that might or might not exist.
