Given all of the controversies circling Harvard, are students going to opt for more tradition educations at traditional schools such as Hillsdale College?

Not a chance.

I literally did a spit take when I read the thread title.

Sure, a college that fundraises on twitter with dumb quizzes is going to be the equivalent Harvard any day now.

While I suspect this is a troll post, I have little doubt that students at Hillsdale today receive a more rigorous, well-rounded education than those at Harvard and other Ivies. They actually have to work to get A's, too.

Lot's of people are frustrated with Harvard and other typical Ivys. I wouldn't be shocked if there was some sort of shake up. A flee to more traditional / conservative schools. Hillsdale included.

Pat Sajac--Wheel of Fortune host--was head of the board at Hillsdale College. His daughter is a recent graduate.

Hillsdale is a solid school for Classics majors.

Not a troll post. Trying to spark a real and smart conversation. Looks what's going on around us with shifting attitudes toward the "elite" schools.

His daughter … <checks notes> … has to rely on nepotism to be eye candy on WoF.

She’s not exactly setting the world on fire.

Harvard has weathered many storms. It might not be the best school for your kid, but it's safe to say it will be considered a top school for a very, very long time.
