Thinking back to when we lost a big chunk of our human intelligence in Iran because Valerie Plame got outed over shitty and petty GOP political behavior.

The GOP really didn’t get enough criticism for this. It’s one of their top d$ick moves and there’s a lot of competition for that.

I think people here are in denial about how the Russians have infiltrated us. We’ve destroyed intelligence capabilities because our leaders have been bribed, brainwashed and extorted.

The Republicans are openly on Putin’s side. Plenty of Democrats seem to be more quietly on his side.

The Russians? Tell me about Rob Malley.

Of course, they knew. Americans have been funding Hamas directly and indirectly for many years. This government is very interested in this conflict.

Trolls like this make me wonder why I read DCUM. Get a life.

Israel is not the United States. Our intelligence should be dedicated to our own protection not some far flung land that most jews have never stepped foot in and have no intention to do so.

Our intelligence have not screen all the Palestinians who crossed the Mexican border in the last two years, what are you blubbing about? Look at the protesters in Chicago, LA, New York - no one can identify a half of those protesters.

Why would Palestinians be a problem in this country? Also RWNJs are much more a concern in this country. Their attacks on the FBi and US intelligence is part of a larger plan with the coup leaders.

No just facts. There is no threat from our southern border specially from Palestinians no matter how hard you troll. Go back to your coup plotting.

Vast majority of US Intelligence in the region is provided by Israel. This is why Israel remains a strategic partner, the US has not invested in Intelligence infrastructure in the region, it is inextricably linked to Israel.

Wouldn’t worry about it now. If Jordan is the next Speaker, we can kiss it all goodbye.

So basically, Bibi ignored the threats and sacrificed over a thousand of his citizens to hold on to power.

There’s a theory that Hamas was planning a more limited attack- you know, kill and kidnap some soldiers to use as prisoner swap pieces. And then they got in so easily and decided on the ground to go on a more extensive rampage.

Definitely hope that Bibi is held accountable if he knew and ignored the threat.

Bibi is going to hell. That man is a hateful SOB who has never wanted peace. He has only ever wanted to wipe out Palestinians.

Of course they did, but they will claim “unbelievable chatter”. I’m of the mindset that they withheld information from Netanyahu so that it would look like he was to blame for this. Yes, they hate him THAT much.

Taliban was selling our weapons left in Afghanistan on the black market almost immediately after our withdrawal.

Reminder... the majority of "our" weapons left in Afghanistan weren't ours - they had been transferred over to Afghan National Army and Afghan Police over the span of 20 years, including by Trump. And more recently it's coming to light that Russian PMCs - Wagner and Redut were training and equipping Hamas, including with Western weapons captured on the Ukraine front. A lot of this is being done deliberately to provide propaganda points to try and discredit the West.

No, weapons were left en masse in August of 2021.
