2011 ECNL/GA Predictions

Yes, Arlington lost in NC this weekend. After beating the #1 team in GA 2-1, the #1 team in NC 4-0, and the #4 team in SC 2-0, they lost in the finals 0-1 to the #2 team in GA. Still undefeated against any 2011 team in VA tho. And ranked #1 in the state, 8th in the country. So there's that.

What are the rankings? GAL has a #1 team at U13 already without a single game being played?

There is a youth soccer ranking app you can download from the App Store. Is has state and national rankings on and does predictions for games (for all of you in the youth soccer betting market😉). For U13 teams you need to take the rankings and predications with a grain of salt since rosters and team names shifted around quite a bit.
Arlington played in a NC tournament and you can see the results on the tournament page. They are playing another three games this weekend so will have all their cards on the table before league play starts.

So Arlington 2011 parent stating a team is #1 in GAL since that team lost to Arlington 2011.

I think GA = State of Georgia not Girl Academy League

3 games against opponents that won’t really give them a challenge. Maybe Beach FC. Would’ve been nice to see them matched against VDA and Union but those two don’t want to see Arlington right now IMO.

This is the stupidity of youth soccer today. The thought that Arlington should travel to a tournament in NC to play two other teams from Northern Virginia.

There's a Loudoun tournament that several of the local ECNL teams are playing this weekend, along with several Baltimore area teams. That's what the previous poster was referencing. But why play all the same teams in preseason that you're going to play in league play just a few weeks later?

Arlington is 1000% the best team in the Mid Atlantic. They’ll get obliterated by an all around technical team. Their size & speed buys them a few more years.

Kickball won’t last forever.

Amazing athletes who need more time on the ball juggling & developing real skill.

I don’t know. I think they hold up pretty well against team outside of DMV. These girls aren’t just amazing athletes though, I think at least half the team are also really good at their technical skills. That said, I do see teams that the whole team is just technical.

Did they play Bethesda?
