2011 ECNL/GA Predictions

Arlington took McLean’s four best midfielders in the past two years due to Jaon’s antics. McLean 2011 is a shell of its former self. Arlington whacked McLean last fall 5-0 on a McLean field and it was a mercy killing where Mo backed off the attack out of respect. Union will be lucky to finish 4th in ECNL MA. I know those players. Well.

I don’t know anything about Courage. What’s happened since spring that has them jumping CSA & Richmond?

Lol, Arlington dad former SYC pounding his chest. Let's see how the season plays out. ECNL is another level; it's not Disney.

Still reeling from that 5-0 shellacking in the fall, huh, McLean parent? Could’ve been worse. Just lucky Mo is a nice guy and didn’t want to humiliate your girls.

Well, since there's only 1 person at that age group who fits that description and I didn't post it, I'm gonna say nope. If you know me, then you already know I continue to cheer for all of them as long as they aren't playing her team, although of course I have opinions on how things are going to turn out. I think from up here, Arlington, VDA, and Union are all going to be solidly in the playoff race at this age, not because they're the biggest or fastest (although some also are), but because you see them working hard - you can find subsets of those players everywhere around here in local camps, futsal, and other training sessions, so the girls all know each other and look forward to playing each other too. Better for the DMV and MA conference in general for all these teams to all be strong and push each other and they all cross paths plenty.

Arlington will come out strong in the fall and then choke in the spring similar to that Union 2010 team last year that this board said would dominate. They got a wake up call in the spring when other teams started catching up. Couldn’t even get past the first round of playoffs. Somehow even managing to lose to Brave along the way.

Arlington, Union, CSA, VDA in that order by the end of it.

Spoken like someone who knows what's up, only thing you missed was that VA will argue for who is best to then just lose to Bethesda, true top dog when you're talking the DMV. 2011's have quietly gotten better every year, and keep adding pieces, coached by the ECNL director this year too, they will be better than last year pay attention NoVA
