If you are voting for the GOP, you are supporting White Nationalism. There is a reason why many traditional conservatives are either supporting the dems or simply not voting.

This is the biggest crock of crap. Truly.
I wonder how some people here make it day to day in a world filled with people of differing views.
I guess if you live in DC, you really do reside in a liberal bubble where you aren't accustomed to having your views challenged in person.

PP from above here.
And, ps....You have just confirmed in your statement what Tuberville was actually saying. You have proven him accurate.

+1

Tuberville knows full well that white nationalism is white supremacy. He also knows you remaining dumb Republicans are happier than hogs in sit about “being able to say that” again.

Or maybe YOU are in a "conservative" bubble where white nationalism, racism and subjugation of women is totally acceptable.

What is the today's GOP?

They do not e-verify mandate.

They do not deportation suiperfunding.

They do not jailing the employer!

No, they like the cheap labour. I do not see the GOP proclaim they are white people party. Why do people think they are white people party?

The racists and white nationalists believe they are the White Nationalism party. The leadership of the party does nothing to distance themselves from the racists and white nationalists. You are the company you keep. If you are in the tent with the racists and white nationalists, then either you are one of them, or you are complicit or sympathetic to their cause.

This really isn't hard.

In an interview with a local Alabama radio station, Republican Sen. Tommy Tuberville was asked if he believes White nationalists should be allowed in the military. He responded, “I call them Americans.”

The radio station WBHM published a transcript of the interview with Tuberville where he was asked, “Do you believe they should allow White nationalists in the military?”

The senator responded, “Well, they call them that. I call them Americans.

What the…? This guy is a straight up confederate.

No. He is stating what all Republicans have come to learn.
Democrats call people names with whom they disagree. They have essentially made terms like "racist" and "white nationalist" irrelevant.

Wrong. The actual racists, white nationalists and xenophones are in the republican party. They used to be democrats until Lyndon Johnson passed the Civil Rights Act. But at that point and through the 1990's, the southern white racists combined with traditional conservatives, and along the way, picked up the Evangelicals and fundamentalist Christians to combine into the modern GOP - a party built on guns, hate and a moral purity that fits THEIR view of America. So if you want to be lumped in with what you are referring to as "them" then you need to be calling out the racism and misogyny. The GOP is no longer "conservative" - the word has been hijacked. Actual conservatism doesn't support book banning, imposition of moral values, activist judges, persecuting private enterprise over "values" or wild economic policies that drive debt and deficit spending, yet these are all things that happen under the modern GOP. Maybe give it a little thought before you jump on the Democrats for calling it out.

For me, I used to be a fiscal conservative, social liberal (you know, let people live how they want) but my GOP left me a long time ago, and given where it is now, I would never vote for the GOP again without a total flushing of the current party. There is no fiscal conservatism in the modern GOP - in fact, the debt and deficit spending the GDP and other metrics have been totally abused by the Bush's and Trump. Nope, the Democrats, believe or not, are a better steward of our economy, better for our standing abroad and better for civil rights for all Americans, no matter how much the GOP in its current state wants to claim otherwise.

TL;DR After the first sentence.....
What I stated is very accurate: "Democrats call people names with whom they disagree."
You only need to read the threads on this site. A Republicans takes a conservative stance on something and some liberal comes back with "racist." They are calling a person whom they have never met a racist simply because of their views. Even when those views have NOTHING to do with race. I have seen it on here repeatedly and have even been called one myself. It is ludicrous. They call Republicans "white nationalists" when they believe that the priorities of Americans should be considered First when it comes to national policy decisions. Another ridiculous attempt at demeaning others.

Tuberville is simply calling out all the liberals who love to throw around names for others merely because they disagree with them. This is what the liberals have been doing for the past I don't know how many years and it is nothing more than an attempt to shut down discussion and deflect from the fact that they have no coherent argument.

TL;DR after the first sentence:

Tuberville and his defenders refuse to say the words "White nationalism is unAmerican and a stain on our country and I condemn it wholly and completely."

Prove me wrong.

WHITE AMERICANS and you forgot about the part where the great multicultural heritage and history of the US is whitewashed (literally) by what these people want our kids to learn, or not learn, about the founding and growth of our country, how institutional racism and sexism impacts the development and laid the foundation for where we are today.

You are illustrating the point by your words or lack of vision for living in anyone else's shoes.

Total Bull$hit.
Just because we don't want our kids to learn about the fake history promoted by the 1619 project doesn't mean history is being whitewashed.
And, the real whitewashing is happening when the mob forces cities and officials to remove statues commemorating our history. What benefit is it to remove a statue of Lincoln or of Theodore Roosevelt?

LOL that you suggest statues are some kind of end-all-be-all for where our history resides.

Lots of statues and busts of Lenin and Marx and Hitler were taken down too in Europe from 1945 through the end of the 90s. Oh no, was history being erased?

We don’t care about your labels and name calling. That’s what Tuberville is telling you. Good for him.

So all those Black people in the South, whose ancestors were brought here in chains by your ancestors who OWNED OTHER HUMAN BEINGS, they’re ok with that?

With what?
With the fact that liberals - especially white liberals - call anyone that disagrees with their progressive agenda "Nazi" or "Racist" or "White supremacist" or any other name in an attempt to quell discussion?

Wrong.

They are simply calling the racists and anti-semites "Nazis' - and the thing is, the people who are racist, misgynists and white nationalists are not hiding their opinions.
Anonymous
To the people defending Tuberville - where is the GOP leadership in setting the record straight, that the party abhors white nationalism and repudiates anyone who project racist views and that there is no room for that in the party?

Please post links.
