Senator Tuberville self id’s as white nationalist and wants white nationalists in military

I look at a White nationalist as a, as a Trump Republican. That’s what we’re called all the time, a MAGA person, that’s what I’m just that.

In an interview with a local Alabama radio station, Republican Sen. Tommy Tuberville was asked if he believes White nationalists should be allowed in the military. He responded, “I call them Americans.”

The radio station WBHM published a transcript of the interview with Tuberville where he was asked, “Do you believe they should allow White nationalists in the military?”

The senator responded, “Well, they call them that. I call them Americans.

Why wouldn't they be loud and proud about it? It's what they stand for. It's the agenda they've been pushing for some time. Next they'll try to make white nationalism not seem like an extreme stance.

the fact that 77 million voters supported Trump in 2020 indicates they are making inroads into normalizing white nationalism.

The South is a horrible place where racist viewpoints are being normalized. The rest of the country should be very wary of "public servants" from these places.

I was not raised to take racial pride.

Then I learned from liberals that no view I have on any subject can be divorced from my race.

So if that’s the lesson, if that’s true- and I don’t believe it- then I must be a white nationalist.

Why is this a problem for the white people?

When the advocacy is at the expense of others, it s a problem. Lifting people up is one thing. Putting people down is another. Also, white people have had an outsized impact, so the idea they are losing something rather than simply being on par with everyone else is a thing.
