Why is this a problem for the white people?

When the advocacy is at the expense of others, it s a problem. Lifting people up is one thing. Putting people down is another. Also, white people have had an outsized impact, so the idea they are losing something rather than simply being on par with everyone else is a thing.

I don't get why they would be so generous then? Wouldn't we win from their inaction?

I have always wondered about some of the posters here. Your post explains a lot of the threads in this forum. They always come off as white power/white nationalistic. Are you full white supremacist?

I'm Chinese, not white. In my home country, 95% of us are all one ethnicity, though we have 55 official minorities so it is kind of puzzling why the majority would not be taking advantage of their numbers.

I'm not even sure what white supremicist is. I'm free to make disparaging comments about white people and I won't really get in trouble for it. I can go to work and people cheer me on all this month for AAPI month. People like me have an advantage in every way, so I don't really understand the issue.

I'm still not sure why white people advocating for themselves is bad. It works better for me and my kids that way because they remove themselves from competiting with us, but I can't imagine a group of people that would be so generous without it benefitting themselves in some way. We would never do that back home. It kind of reminds me of an old movie, where an inventor time travels to the future and monsters prey on pretty kids that won't fight for themselves.

Christians ruined this country and they are still working hard to make things worse. They are full of fear and hate and scam poor people for their few remaining dollars while the preacher lives in luxury. I see christian preachers on tv every single night promising personal wealth and favors for donating a “seed” of $1000. Preying on the hope and desperation of poor people and convincing them to send cash to buy a miracle from god. Yet I never hear any christian speaking out against that open and nightly abuse. It is more like the achievements that you inherited from your ancestor. So if your ancestors gave you privilege, then there should be nothing wrong with being proud of what they have done.

I am a white person. Other white people should not be proud of my achievements. There are a shit ton of white people I want no affiliation or association with. Bigots, racists, religious zealots, anti-intellectuals are among those I'd just as soon disown despite our common skin color.
