wild guess you’re a racist too. do everyone a solid a get out of the medical field. there are plenty of jobs better suited for scum people. |
They will be. There's a massive shortage of nurses willing to work bedside (and on staff instead of raking in crazy pay as travelers). What they did still sucks and was idiotic, though. |
|
So many people just did not grow up. Then, they get jobs and make Tik Toks forgetting that they are actually adults. So much immaturity.
Everyone should be disgusted. Hopefully they got the message. |
Who do you think you are? Get over yourself.
not PP |
Ummm, sweetheart, you aren't getting anyone fired. Take several seats. |
It’s their opinion, based on that person’s words and behavior. Whether you like it or not is absolutely immaterial. And you issuing orders like “don’t utter a word” — what? Are you the hospital CEO? Then shut up. |
Mmkay, Pollyanna. |
Cool. Make sure the next time you or a family member are in the hospital, you say “no nurses for me!” You can sit there in your own waste unmedicated. |
They absolutely did when they were alone together. Just not around The Help. |
You are extrapolating. That is not what people are upset about. The comments these nurses made are mostly dog whistles but the epidural one was specific to patient care/consent. We are saying the same thing but you, or another poster here, is getting pissy about not being able to say whatevvverrr you want to say. Warning another nurse and talking shi% about patients are two VERY different things. This tiktok was talking shi%. Talking shi% about people is usually coming from 1 of 2 things: 1. bullies 2. people who think they are better than certain groups of people/types of people. Neither of the above are going to be giving the best care they can regardless of the person in the bed. |
My grandfather was a doctor and he told me to judge a hospital by it's nursing staff. Nurses are human and overworked. Judging by the entitled posters on this thread. Think of it this way:. You are only thinking and concerned with yourself but nurses have everybody on the ward in their care. If you're a PITA you get some snark. |
| Sadly, I think they are probably more of these types of nurses out there. |
I feel sorry for the nurses having to put up with Pregnant American Princesses and their over entitled families. Nobody should be bringing your young children to the hospital. They can see their new sibling when you get home from the hospital a day or two later. |
mental health check: you doing ok? |
Most hospitals have rules about not bringing siblings to the hospital, or only during specified times and only if there is a designated adult with them at all times. These rules are even stricter since Covid. Most women giving birth in hospitals are not entitled princesses. They are looking for medical care. For many people, it is their first and only time staying overnight in a hospital. For first time moms, they may have plenty of perfectly reasonable fears about how it's going to go. The idea that it's okay to publicly crap all over your patients because sometimes some of them do annoying things is the really entitled behavior. Take it up with your boss, your colleagues, your therapist, your partner, your priest. I don't care. People go to hospitals because they have to, and because they need help. You don't trash them on TikTok because you had a tough day. These nurses need to grow the eff up. |
