The takeaway, and I did this research a while back, is that the club matters more than the high school. Public school girls on top clubs like Capital Blue do just fine when they pick their college or University (assuming their grades are good).

Nope. Its about a family's ability to get Little Suzy to prospect camps, proper training, good test prep and a decent club with their $4-6 k/season fees. So, sure club has its role, but its the families economic means that does this combined with the talent and drive of the child. Being on CLC or M&D may get one or two reflected credit for a handful of solid players but there's too much evidence that the common denominator of all this is money. Money drives this train.

Wow, OK. I'll try again using the language of the PP. What "decent club" has $4-6k/season fees? I'm not demeaning the girls or parents at that club, just basing it purely on rankings and commits. I don't think you can be considered decent even being super generous with the term if you aren't top 100 nationally with all your teams. Top 50 is probably a better measure of decent. I hope these parents are wealthy and have money to burn.
