Capital Orange Parents - If you could do it all over again

If you could do it all over again would you have chosen an A team at another club (MC Elite, Pride, VA Metro etc) over Capital Orange?

PP, who answered yes.. are you still there or has you DD graduated? I’d say 2025 and 2026 is too early to tell, and Orange is better then the local teams you mentioned.

I’m curious too. DD is a 27. I’ve heard 25 and 26 have one or two complainers constantly stirring the pot. They should just leave if they aren’t happy (and realize complaining won’t get you moved up), but not sure there are better options locally.

Is your goal for your DD to go on to the next level and play in college, or just to be a contributor on her HS team? If the goals are only to get reps and playing time for HS improvement Metro is fine, but if you want your daughter to have a shot in the college recruiting process than Capital Orange is definitely a much better place to be. Pride hasn't had a HS program long enough to really show recruiting potential, but they will at least be playing in the higher brackets at tournaments which is a step above metro and MC Elite.

No. My daughter made Cap Orange and she has a TON of support. I cannot imagine being at another club.

Hold up....you don't think the Pride A teams have recruited better than Capital orange the last couple of years? You're delusional.

The B teams are a money grab. Better to go be a star at the other teams. That is what college coaches want.

Not if the college coaches never see you because they aren't watching teams in the D, E, or F brackets. Maybe gonand find some VA metro 24 parents to poll before you spee your nonsense.

Ok. Capital Orange is not better than all local teams mentioned (and not mentioned). Lets remember that at the 25 level Cap Orange team lost to YJ Mid-Atlantic which didnt' exist 18 months prior.

2025 is next up for recruiting. It will be interesting to compare which clubs do better in that aspect.

Oh Please! The YJMA 25 team got lucky 1 game.
Look at them now. Their A Team is ranked 147 and their B team is ranked 196.
Capital 25 orange is ranked 80.

Don’t even try to compare a low tier club like YJMA to an established proven club like Capital. They are not even close and never will be.

2. Pride Black

3. Capital Orange

4. Other

I wouldn’t touch va metro with a 10 foot poll. And furthermore don’t even try to compare cap orange to another area A team like metro. Metro has at best rec coaches on their staff and everyone leaves to get better competition. Someone said it before, but their last successful team for recruiting and talent was the 23 class. Metro is a sinking ship
