I am a fed, and absolutely work with some of the best and brightest. However, sitting right next to them are mouth breathers that leave you scratching your head as to how and why. |
| My agency is 75% Rockstar/25% Not, which I think is on par with the private sector. |
Is there a link or citation for this? Would love to see it! |
There are tons of losers in commercial. |

Biden issued EO finalizing pay raise. Now all that needs to happen is for OPM to issue the new pay tables.

The pay tables are in the order. So if you scroll through the 50+ pages, you’ll see the pay with locality tables. This isn’t the easiest way to view them. But they are there. As folks said over and over again, the pay cap is raise to $183,500 |
OPM has the pay rates already published. 4.86% for DC. https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/pay-leave/salaries-wages/salary-tables/23Tables/html/DCB.aspx |
| Damn. Those numbers look great. |
They sure do! Thank you Mr. President! |
| With those numbers, I am strongly considering just relaxing with my non-supervisory 14/8. A 15 isn’t enough more for the accompanying headaches. |
| I'll take it! Over $5200 for me and I'm possibly getting a QSI (pay pool bonuses haven't been announced yet). Either way it's nice. |
I agree! I’m a 14 step 10. I would need a $20k to $25k increase to take on a supervisory role. Congress and the president needs to fix this pay cap issue, as well as raise executive pay. If their goal is to have horrible talent in top positions, then by all means keep status quo. |
Yep, this hasn't been fixed in years. |
| Well I got a QSI to 15 step 7. So now I’m maxed out! |
Yup! I’m a capped SES (203k). I got an offer at PWC for $282k a couple weeks ago. My agency is doing everything they can to convince me to stay. |
