Have you read all of the threads that OP has started on this same issue. She keeps posting over and over again from slightly different angles trying to get DCUM to agree with her and they never do.

My mother in law was passive aggressively lamenting to my husband, "well [friend's name] is so lucky that her son lives with her." Said son is a heroin addict who has stolen and abused his mom and everyone else in his life, but okay!!

My mother does this. All the people my mother used to rudely call "total losers" are now "saints" because they live with their elderly parents in codependent dysfunction. It does make me laugh when she asks me why I can't be more like them?!
