And, top it off with a few waves of illegal immigration. This administration has been a disaster and it will reverberate across the nation. |
A - the crime wave happened in 2020, guess who was president then? B - Inflation, I agree with. No one wants to go to the store and pay $5 for milk and $7 for eggs. The House needs to wake up. We asked for Covid action, climate change polices, physical infrastructure, and protection for ACA/RoevWade. That's it. C - Enough about Afghanistan. Four presidencies wanted out, we're out. |
Good luck explaining A, B, and C to the general public. You might be right, but most Americans need a quick narrative that resonates with their lived experiences. 'Democrat's focusing on equity/Critical Race Theory while people died in Afghanistan, prices of milk/eggs are rising, and your friend just got mugged will fit the narrative for many.' |
A - and the crime wave has no doubt been made far worse by Democratic led cities defunding police departments and liberal prosecutors opting not to prosecute crime. And, as for Afghanistan....No, not enough already. Biden f'ed it up and we won't let people forget it. Thirteen service members didn't need to die and 10 innocents didn't need to be sacrificed because of the ineptitude of this administration and the decisions that were made. It is criminal, IMO. |
Actually it’s a murder wave. Made much worse by enraged Trumphumpers + guns As for Afghanistan, the new right talking point is: should have left 2500 troops there for the Taliban to take shots at. |
| Just praying that Manchin & Sinema stay strong. 3.5T to exacerbate inflation and further bloat the lazy federal workforce. Oh, and undermine the dollar. No thanks. |
Be truthful about Afghanistan. Do you think Trump could have gotten so many people out with no casualties? That Trump could have avoided a suicide attack? Because I was a fed under Trump and saying logistics were not his strong unit is amassing understatement. |
I don't think we would have withdrawn so rapidly. And, I am ok with that. We would still be there today because the Taliban had not met the conditions. We have had Afghan allies, journalists, and others beheaded and assassinated in front of their families. The US will be hard pressed to have trust restored after this debacle. |
Yeah. No. The statistics are not bearing that statement out....... |
|
A couple of observations about this poll..... First, this is a poll done by "Data for Progress" and called "Climate Power." Red flag right there. Secondly, anytime a pollster does not identify the numbers of Dems, Republicans, and Indies, I become skeptical. This one didn't ID numbers. Third - nearly all the districts in which this survey was taken said that the amount of money for this boondoggle should be reduced. Lastly, this is the way the survey question was asked... "Some lawmakers have proposed a new $3.5 trillion Build Back Better plan that would expand Medicare benets, lower healthcare costs and prescription drug prices, and expand access to aordable caretaking services for children and the elderly. This plan would also take action to address climate change and extreme weather, create clean energy jobs, and reduce pollution.' Nothing about all the other excess crap in the bill. Nothing about the ridiculous rules and power grabs. Nothing about the huge growth of the IRS or the increase on taxes - which we know will have an impact on the middle class. |
Over ten years. Meanwhile, the military budget over the same period is 7T and no one says anything about that. Not a word. Not a worry. Nothing about the lazy military. Some of you have had your brains totally rotted out by right wing propaganda and it shows. |
13 service members...wake up to your hypocrisy please. Trump killed 600,000 Americans and you want us to shed a single tear over 13? 13 is the death total in the first 30 minutes of a good day in January 2021. I'm honestly laughing at you and anyone who thinks we care. We care about the f**king dead bodies in multiple states that are sitting in mobile morgues right now. |
Nice, pp. I bet you were also someone who celebrated health care workers a year ago, but are now cheering on the ones being fired because they won't get the jab. |
13 who didn't need to die. They were killed because of the piss poor evacuation. And, no, Trump did not kill 600,000 Americans. When you make statement like that, I assume you are uneducated or just a partisan hack. You don't seem to care about these 13 brave service members. Most of us do. |
