A lot of the climate stuff will get chucked or watered down. Both the BIF and reconciliation will pass by the end of October.

He didn't crack. He waved a contract he signed with Schumer THREE MONTHS AGO that stating the bill would be no more than $1.5 Trillion. Someone call AOC and tell her to purge her wish list and move on. She's been out-flanked by real politicians.

Ahh, the sweet smell of victory in the air.

And many Democrats say in retrospect the West Virginia senator’s $1.5 trillion legislative framework was far more sweeping than anything Biden might get now.

“If you look at the old Manchin deal, every progressive would love to have that back,” said one Democratic operative with prominent clients in the party.

"Intangible drilling costs?" Sorry but drilling costs are definitely enumerable and tangible. Sounds like padding fossil fuel pockets.

"Enhanced recovery" credits? We're subsidizing dangerous fracking practices despite it being dangerous to aquifers?

Most of his demands in that list are unfettered right wing demands.

He’s a right winger but votes for the judges. So give heavily to possible states so we can neuter this mostly useless megalomaniac.

I hope every day that the Dems focus on winning a few extra Senate seats to make this jackass irrelevant.

They're already focused on losing.

And this is the prime reason Schumer didn’t bring BBB up for a vote knowing he didn’t have it - Bernie looks like a nutcase

If passing Bernie's amendment would sink the bill, why didn't the 50 Republicans vote in favor of it so that the amendment would pass with 51 votes? Are they afraid that it wouldn't really sink the bill? If so, the Democrats should have passed the amendment.

Sigh.

A) Sinema is NOT up for reelection until 2025.

B) There is a vulnerable Senator in Arizona. His name is Mark Kelly and HE is up for reelection 2022.

C) You'll be lucky to keep the House at this rate. Keep ignoring inflation.

We will remember Sinema. Make no mistake, we will remember.
As for Mark Kelly he's a g_dam ASTRONAUT and national hero. And he is NOT in that much trouble in AZ. Good luck topping Kelly.

Told you.

On Thursday, two election forecasts – from the Cook Political Report with Amy Walter and Politico – moved the race from the “lean Democrat” category to “toss up.”

Wrote the Cook Political Report’s Jessica Taylor:

“Talking with multiple sources this week, we have found across the board that Democrats acknowledge this is once again a margin-of-error race. We have seen tightening public polling as well.”
