There were other actions Milley could have taken if he had reason to think something was going to happen. Trump was not going to go nuclear. After all, he had moved the other way more than almost any president we have had.

This is so stupid I have to respond. The Chinese know most of what we know about them and they know that. The intel was not some secret phone call; it was movement of troops and weapons. They can't take a crap without us knowing and they know that.

We were actually at war with Germany. So your analogy does not work.

It is not treason. That is silly. Treason is levying war against the United States, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. He did neither. Also China is not an enemy. He has free reign to call his counterparts even the Russians. He is also a free agent as to what he says.

He did what he thought was right. That is all I want someone like him to do. You can disagree but most of this stuff against him is simply wrong.

Well this should put an end to this non-sense. He did not break Chain of Command. Trump's own appointees were on the calls. State, Defense -- sounds like several Trump appointees on the call.

Fun fact: In 2018, Pew's global survey of world affairs asked residents of several countries to rate other nations (usually the US/China/Russia) favorably or unfavorably.

Vietnam's favorability rating of the US was 84%.

The USA's favorability rating of the US was 79%.
