The question is: what did they say? Did they really tell them to leave--while Biden was saying the Afghani government was stable?

Yes, they really did tell them to get out of the country. Repeatedly. By emails, by phone calls, websites, by many channels. They told people to leave repeatedly, over the course of several months. They offered assistance with paperwork, with logistics, with airfare. They did literally everything short of physically kidnapping people and throwing them onto planes.

We called it twenty years ago-the quagmire that resulted from the neocons and the baby bush cabal rush to war and knew the military was incapable of winning throughout the Middle East and South Asia. Biden absolutely made the right call because the military could not be trusted.
