The generic statement -

"This is an extremely difficult time for both the Petito family and the Laundrie family. I understand that a search has been organized for Miss Petito in or near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. On behalf of the Laundrie family, it is our hope that the search for Miss Petito is successful and that Miss Petito is re-united with her family. On the advice of counsel, the Laundrie family is remaining in the background at this juncture and will have no further comment."

Ohhhh the cops were called on the van couple on Aug. 12th. 13 days before she disappeared.

'Our officers did respond to an incident involving Brian Laundrie and Gabrielle Petito on 12 August 2021 however, neither Brian or Gabrielle were the reporting party,'

This isn't 1895 bro - you don't get to kill someone, run across 10 state lines and pretend it never happened while starting a new family in your small town.

I mentioned upthread that I was there the same week that she apparently went missing. The weather was a little nuts. The week started in the 90's and ended up with snow. I did not plan accordingly so luckily my family came out after me and were able to bring cold weather gear.
If she is lost, it has dropped below freezing for multiple days and even snowed. The weather is wild.
For those who haven't been to Yellowstone/Tetons, the area is vast. I haven't seen such open spaces in my life and one could easily disappear without being found.

"Police seized the van Monday as part of their investigation, which involves law enforcement agencies in multiple states and the FBI, the latter of which began a forensic examination on the vehicle Tuesday, North Port police told Fox News."

Thank goodness the FBI is doing the forensics on the van instead of the local police.

I really don’t think it’s OK to post children’s pictures.

They aren't children anymore. 22/23.

Well, any young woman, living in a van monthly, will leave blood behind - not to mention hair, skin cells, DNA, etc.

So none of that physical evidence alone from the van would prove anything.

You know what you can't explain away? Neural tissue.

Maybe that's what happened to this woman or maybe something just as dangerous. Youtuber/Instagrammers try to do crazy stupid activities to get more views. If she and he tried to do this and died, its not his fault but he probably didn't want to admit to it either.

Utah is on a roll. A 26-year-old died on a hike over the weekend.

Utah newlywed, 26, is found dead after plunging 200 feet from 'extremely difficult and dangerous' mountain hiking trail near Salt Lake City

Andrew Acuff, a 26-year-old newlywed from Salt Lake City, died Sunday after he reportedly fell while hiking the Wasatch Uintah Ridgeline Trail in the Dromedary Peak area, The Salt Lake Tribune reported.

A group of hikers found his body later the same day in a 'steep scree field' hundreds of feet below the summit while they were on the Cottonwood Traverse, near the O'Sullivan Peak, according to the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Search and Rescue team.

The Angel's Landing trail in Zion is very popular and in a well-traveled area - anyone who fell there would be immediately found.

I'm more curious about why Brian's parents seem to be so willing to be part of the cover-up. What did he tell them?

How much blood do you think women shed during menstrual cycles?! It’s not much and it’s likely she was using products not freely bleeding all over the place. And that’s if she wasn’t on the pill.

Full Schmidt/Petito family statement:

The Schmidt and Petito family are going through the worst moments of their lives. Their beautiful twenty-two year old daughter is missing and the one person that can help find Gabby refuses to help. Brian Laundrie was traveling with Gabby in the Grand Teton – Yellowstone area. They were traveling together in Gabby’s 2012 Ford Transit van. That is where we believe Gabby was last seen.

Brian is refusing to tell Gabby’s family where he last saw her. Brian is also refusing to explain why he left Gabby all alone and drove her van to Florida. These are critical questions that require immediate answers.

The Schmidt and Petito family beg the Laundrie family to not "remain in the background" but to help find who Brian referred to as the love of his life. How does Brian stay in the background when he is the one person that knows where Gabby is located?

The Schmidt and Petito family implore Brian to come forward and at least tell us if we are looking in the right area.

Hmmm, I didn't know it was her van and not his. That definitely puts a sinister twist on things. If they broke up amicably or not, she should have been the one to take the van.

Bump! This pp is the real sleuth. Someone contacted police about an incident. This is a breadcrumb that needs to be followed.
