Are hot women less likely to have solid marriages?

All of this is broadly speaking, of course, and from a heteronormative perspective.

But the hotter a woman is, usually the hotter or more successful her husband. And if a man is only as faithful as his options, a hot or successful man is more likely to cheat (regardless how hot his wife is, because she's old news).

Have you seen this dynamic play out?

I don't have any really hot friends, but when I think of the most solid couples I know, they're quite homely, so either they know they can't do better or they're not motivated by physical attraction. And with that comes some nice stability.

I guess it depends how you measure a solid marriage.

If it's defined solely but pure sexual fidelity, then perhaps it's worse for any woman to be married to an attractive, successful man. They cheat more.

Is the trade-off better to be married to an unattractive man who is unemployed, sits at home all day, and whose hygiene is such no woman would sleep with him?

This has been my observation as well. Hot women often stay pretty hot as they get older and their husbands lose their hair and get beer bellies.

Your not the rule you might be the exception.... but yes, most normal people want respect and stability.

Hot women are given a pass for almost everything from the moment they are introduced to society. Pre-school, school, friend and family give them tons of attention.

It's good and bad, they often don't form normal coping skills or skills at all, since they can pretty much skate by on looks.

Eventually it is time to date and nice guys do not hit on hot chicks either because they think they are out of their league or the assume she is already spoken for.

Only arrogant a-holes hit on hot chicks, hot chicks start to think something is wrong with them since the nice guys never ask them out, they settle for a-hols and life is usually not as charmed.

That is for UMC white 45+ women.

The new generation is a little different, girls can be hot and smart too. It will be nice to see a change.

The two top disputes in marriage are sex and money. Hot women tend tend to marry wealthier men all else being equal.

Agree with others that men are as faithful as their options but aside from cheating which can happen in any marriage, it does help to be good looking in a marriage so you can keep your husband's attention
