Good job, Gov Hogan

I’m the most left leaning person out there, but I have to give props to governor Hogan. 500k test kits direct from Korea? Excellent work.

+1 (+100 if I could). I'm totally left Democrat and I'm so relieved to have Hogan as our governor. I would be much, much more stressed out if I didn't feel confident he was doing such a great job for us.

Yay Gov. Hogan.

Also, no better demonstration of the fact that the US response is a complete failure. Our access to crucial public-health resources shouldn't depend on the ethnic heritage of the spouse of the governor of the state we happen to be living in.

Thanks to his Korean speaking wife actually. She was on the phone late making sure the deal got done.

He sucks. Period.

He's been proactive throughout this crisis. He took it seriously all along and was one of the early ones to shut things down. I am so thankful he's in charge of the state, especially considering the utter failure of the federal response.

He has not done a bad job overall, and considering many other Governors have done a worse job, yes, congrats. Keep it up.

Also want to congratulate DeWine of Ohio (R), for similar prudence and listening to his health point person, a doctor.

Pandemic response is not a partisan exercise. It's all about listening to experts and taking early action.

It certainly looking promising that Maryland will be prepared to open in not too long. Great job Gov. Hogan!

ehhh...this is life. If you want to practice IP law in China, you better have a few Chinese speaking lawyers on your staff. Same for practicing in Europe. If you want to close a deal with a Korean firm overnight, I can see how pleasantries and some final cajoling in Korean would be handy.

I used to be in the Navy. When we would have a ship pull into country X for an exercise, You better believe that we had Country X speakers even if we had to borrow them from 'big' Navy.

Dem in Va here. I wish we could make a trade. Hogan has done great. I hope he runs for President if he is healthy enough to do it. I would 100% vote for him.

Virginians and DC residents can only pray and hope Hogan will take leadership of DMV as a whole because Northam and Bowser have demonstrated no ability to lead.

I believe that the PP was referring to the complete failure on the part of the federal government. They should have been sourcing and purchasing tests for the states, as a collective effort from one central entity would save time and money. (and lives.)
