If you want to practice IP law in China, you better have a few Chinese speaking lawyers on your staff. Same for practicing in Europe. If you want to close a deal with a Korean firm overnight, I can see how pleasantries and some final cajoling in Korean would be handy. I used to be in the Navy. When we would have a ship pull into country X for an exercise, You better believe that we had Country X speakers even if we had to borrow them from 'big' Navy. [/quote]
