Will Trump drop Vance?

QUAYLE: That was really uncalled for, Senator. (Shouts and applause)

However I have a soft spot for JD

Trump will lose and Usha and JD are in the dustbin of history. Her striver instincts delved too far into the deep.

Trump painted himself into a corner, didn't he?

JD painted HIMself (and Usha) into a corner. They are opportunists for sure, but this opportunity certainly put them in a box. If Trump wins, they are good. If he doesn't, they are done for in politics.

Nah. Money grabbing right wing grifters til the end. Plenty of easy cash on the Con Inc circuit via TPUSA, CPAC, Yoram Hazony, Hoover, Hillsdale, and all the neocon think tanks. Usha will prob get a CNN gig if she wants.

Which specific debacle?

As a Harris supporter, I’ve been worried about Trump dumping dead-weight JD for a better VP pick.

Then, after Trump’s performance at today’s NABJ conference, I’m not worried at all. Nobody with political aspirations will attach themselves to Trump now. His presidential race is DOA. Nobody wants to hitch their star to such a loser.

Trump badly needed to make himself relevant, and he has done just that. For him, there is no negative publicity.

They will not like it if he fires Vance. Trump needs their $$.

Also Trump looks like a loser if he suddenly dumps him in less than a month of launching him.

What a mess.

Didn't I read somewhere that Peter Thiel has since moved on from Vance?

yeah but then he came back

Shrug. Most people don't know or care who Peter Thiel is. And Elon Musk is mostly known for Teslas and destroying Twitter. I get that Trump wants their money, but I'm sure, conman that he is, he could find a way to convince them that dropping Vance was in their best interest.

He called them lazy, so the people in eastern ohio might care enough to not show up and vote

Thank out lucky stars we won't have to hear, see, or think about him after Nov. 6,!

Hicklib is torpedoing the campaign.

I thought the main reason he’s running is to stay out of prison. If that’s the case, doubtful he’d drop out.

Which specific debacle?

DP, but I assume the NABJ in Chicago.
