Will Trump drop Vance?

If Trump is dropping Vance, it needs to happen tomorrow, and then the GOP delegates all need to vote for it tomorrow.

Not.gonna.happen.

Thiel has so much dirt on Vance. I would be scared that he was going to kill me so JD can take over the presidency if I were Trump.

If Vance's ticket loses, Usha's words and associations through her husband may come back to haunt her one day if she wants to return to work in a non-MAGA setting.

J.D. Vance’s wife is pushing back against criticism her husband is facing for his “childless cat ladies” remark, saying she wished people wouldn’t focus on the phrase itself, the Daily Beast reports.

Said Usha Vance: “I took a moment to look and actually see what he had said, and try and understand what the context was in all that, which is something that I really wish people would do a little bit more often.”

She added: “The reality is, he made a quip in service of making a point that he wanted to make that was substantive, and it had actual meaning. And I just wish sometimes that people would talk about those things and that we would spend a lot less time just sort of going through this three-word phrase or that three-word phrase, because what he was really saying is that it can be really hard to be a parent in this country.”

So, he’s so incoherent that even his own wife has to piece together context clues to figure out WTH he’s talking about?

And…after doing all that, she still has no idea what he’s saying? Because “parenting is hard” was definitely not it.

Perfect.

Yeah, I don’t see how this helped. Seems like it made it worse.

If anyone thought 'Poor Usha!', that's gone now. And why dredge this back up, when it has fallen off the front page?

I'm sure she and JD will end up as Fox talking heads after they lose. It's a waste and an embarrassment, but they're clearly just interested in amassing wealth. They'll probably do that.

She’s mendacious striver married to a scheming, but-apparently-not-all-that-bright dick (with a slightly gay affect.)

but at least she recognizes the great fight Republicans are always carrying on behalf of parents: opposing efforts to extend childcare, opposing after-school programs, trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act, opposing efforts to lift the minimum wage, opposing assault-weapon band (school shooters have rights too.)

Didn’t everyone say Kamala said eord salad? This is right up there.

“eord salad”? No.

Trump. Vance. Biden. Harris. Of the bunch, Harris is by far the most adept public speaker.

"what he was really saying is that it can be really hard to be a parent in this country.”
Precisely why parenthood should be voluntary, not forced. Thanks, Usha!

But Vance didn’t say that at all. He said that people without kids were sociopaths.

Since the majority of the white incel population is largely Republican and attended the Charlottesville riots and January 6, I guess Vance was just calling out to his supporters. Who knows, they may even like being called sociopaths.

I read his venue held 1000 and only 200 showed up. Meanwhile Harris/Walz’s held 10000 and was overflowing.
