If Vance's ticket loses, Usha's words and associations through her husband may come back to haunt her one day if she wants to return to work in a non-MAGA setting.

J.D. Vance’s wife is pushing back against criticism her husband is facing for his “childless cat ladies” remark, saying she wished people wouldn’t focus on the phrase itself, the Daily Beast reports.

Said Usha Vance: “I took a moment to look and actually see what he had said, and try and understand what the context was in all that, which is something that I really wish people would do a little bit more often.”

She added: “The reality is, he made a quip in service of making a point that he wanted to make that was substantive, and it had actual meaning. And I just wish sometimes that people would talk about those things and that we would spend a lot less time just sort of going through this three-word phrase or that three-word phrase, because what he was really saying is that it can be really hard to be a parent in this country.”

Didn’t everyone say Kamala said eord salad? This is right up there.

Tiger parented ruthless strivers like her are extremely arrogant and smug with literally zero common sense. Her empty life revolves around status and jumping through hoops. She's a creepy robot married to a creepy doughboy hick pathological liar.

To be fair, Usha seems very down to earth and neither arrogant nor smug about herYale, Oxford, Yale Law, clerkships, big law background.

Her only flaw so far is standing by Vance. She should stay out of it.

No, just no. That is not some casual serendipitous CV, that is the CV of an obsessive and hyper-calculating woman. She is not some babe in the woods, she is just as awful as her creepy husband; perhaps even worse, since she clearly wears the pants in the relationship.

This lady is going to have to up her beard game. She's smiling like she's in a hostage proof of life there.

The deadline is passed for the Ohio ballot, so Vance is stuck on the ticket.

I think it depends state to state. I am sure there are some election experts who could weigh in.

Ty. That is a comprehensive explanation. It looks like the RNC would replace Vance at this point if he left the ticket.

Wow. Did not know Tim Scott’s gf (now wife) is a divorced mother of three. Why would she have given up the generous settlement from her ex to marry Scott?

“Mindy walked away with $2,181,000 and spousal support of $9,500 a month from the marriage, according to court documents obtained by DailyMail.com.”

We are and should be better than that.

The "when they go low we go high" isn't working all that well. However, "we" didn't start questioning the kids' background until Trump made it an issue of it.

Clean as a whistle? Their set up in law school sounds like an arranged marriage hatched by think tanks and or intel.

It'd be worked out. State deadlines only mattered when it affected the Democrats.
