So you think that because women might think a man is attractive that that man can't commit rape? And date rape drugs are disturbingly easy to get. |
They could. But they don’t want to. They (Senate GOP) won’t oppose Trump. |
You are batshit. |
+1 The police report is telling, there is a reason he was never charged. He didn't rape anyone. |
Then why did he pay her?
Asked before, not answered. |
Hope the military would stand up and fight this. |
Why did her and her husband take the money and sign a contract to not talk about it? NDA's are very common, it is not an admission of anything other than we won't talk about it. They both had reputations they wanted to preserve I guess but it's none of our business. They agreed to something, she and her family received money it was done for 7 years. |
If he's going to be SecDef, it's our business. SMH |
If she was texting her husband all night about Pete, the husband obviously knew who she was with when she didn’t come back to the hotel room until 4 or 5am. So the wife was allegedly just raped, but the husband and her wait 4 days to report it? Come on, who believes this nonsense? |
Ok and now that it’s out, there is nothing to see. This is nothing other than embarrassing maybe. But he didn’t do anything wrong |
Did you see the letter his mother sent to him? She called him an abuser of women.
Yikes. https://www.thedailybeast.com/pete-hegseths-mom-said-he-abused-many-women-in-bombshell-email/ |
Yes, this has already been discussed on this forum. The New Yorker article above is the latest story about his character flaws. |
Some highlights of the article for those who don't want to read it are below. The sources are from multiple former colleagues from several organizations he ran and paint a picture of someone who: had a big alcohol problem and was frequently intoxicated and out of control, fraternized inappropriately with female staff, created a hostile workplace for female employees, and couldn't keep it in his pants when on the road and away from his family. He was forced to step down from the two nonprofits he ran--what makes anyone think he's going to be a better manager of the entire DoD with its multi-billion dollar budget and over 3 million employees (active military and civilian)? *forced to step down by both of the two nonprofit advocacy groups that he ran—Veterans for Freedom and Concerned Veterans for America—in the face of serious allegations of financial mismanagement, sexual impropriety, and personal misconduct. *repeatedly intoxicated while acting in his official capacity—to the point of needing to be carried out of the organization’s events. *Hegseth took the C.V.A. team to the strip club, where “he was so drunk he tried to get on the stage and dance with the strippers.” *under Hegseth’s leadership, the organization became a hostile workplace that ignored serious accusations of impropriety, including an allegation made by a female employee that another employee on Hegseth’s staff had attempted to sexually assault her at the Louisiana strip club. *Hegseth was at a bar in the early-morning hours of May 29, 2015, while on an official tour through Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, drunkenly chanting “Kill All Muslims! Kill All Muslims!” *Hegseth had “a history of alcohol abuse” and had “treated the organization funds like they were a personal expense account—for partying, drinking, and using CVA events as little more than opportunities to ‘hook up’ with women on the road.” |
Please read up on the psychology of rape. It is carried out for reasons of control, to impose power. Elderly women, babies and unconscious people get raped. The norms of “dating,” do not apply. Your analysis reflects talk simplistic ignorance. |
