Can't imagine blaming any president for the plane crashes that have occurred over the years, including this one.

Trump not only blamed Biden and Obama, he also preemptively blamed any blacks, hispanics, gays, or women who might have somehow been involved.

If the people involved were competent, appropriately educated for the job, alert, not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, not asleep, and doing their jobs correctly, then you have nothing to worry about.

Nobody is worried. The Black Hawk slammed into the jetliner like a guided missile.

What will the DUI hire do about it?

Right. That's what the military said. Then Trump went off on one of his idiot uncle rants.

The gaslighting is infuriating.

I worry about this investigations....will we get real answers/information or tainted, dishonest dumpy information. Sad times when you can't trust anyone due to the chaos being created in government but your "president" and his cabinet.

We need real leadership and we don't have that in the White House.

I just can’t get over the fact that Hegseth didn’t appear at the news conference four hours after the crash. It was already evident that a military craft hit a civilian airliner in the shadow of the Pentagon. When the crash happened in 1982, it was afternoon and many people from the Pentagon actually helped in the rescue.

Do you mean DEI, or are you suggesting someone was DUI?

I trust nothing under this administration. I would have under his first term, but no longer. He has proven himself untrustworthy and vindictive, not unlike the first term but now he only has sycophants around him.

I don't think some of the families will rest until they get real answers. They've lost everything so there's not much Trump can threatened to do to them.

From what I have read in reports.

1. The helicopter was flying too high. Might have also been further from shore than Perha have been. Night goggles might have made it more difficult.
2. The controller was doing two jobs--according to report s the supervisor had combined the job 40 minutes prior to the crash. He/she was directing both helicopters and planes usually two people.
3. The airline was asked to use a different runway than originally planned--not clear when the request was made for a change.

Nope it was the unqualified DEI Air Traffic controllers. Now Trump and the Republicans just need to apply pressure to the investigators so the “investigation” shows the same thing.

Pretty sure DUI hire is meant as a shot across the bow vs the right wing "DEI hire" stuff, since Pete Hegseth is a DRUNK.

There is at present ZERO evidence that DEI had anything to do with the collision. NONE.

DCA is too busy and is understaffed. And here Trump wants even more staff cuts and even less regulation.
