Pete Hedgseth for Secretary of Defense

You elevate a man like Trump, and he will minimize (even be drawn to) the character flaws of the men who share them.

Any women who voted for him…any fathers of daughters who voted for him….please reflect on what you have unleashed.

I would not accept a date with this man and Trump thinks he is a good choice to oversee our nuclear weapons.

Now I see why he does not went women in combat. If he thinks other men share his lack of self control and misogyny, he can’t imagine working side by side with females in a professional manner.

So he takes his wife with him on his hill visits as reinforcement? She knows who he is. She was having an affair with him while he was married to his second wife. Women who “stand by their (womanizing) man” are just gross, and I include Hillary in that assessment.

Yes. Is this wife the former FOX employer who Hegseth impregnated while married to the second wife.

“The magazine reported that Hegseth resigned from the organization under pressure. But the allegations were contested on Monday.

“I was there for most of those alleged incidents, and this stuff is just complete fabrications,” Sean Parnell, a retired U.S. Army captain who was a senior adviser at CVA while Hegseth ran the organization, told the online magazine Compact.

Parnell suspended his bid for the Republican nomination for Senate in Pennsylvania in 2021 amid allegations of spousal and child abuse.

His then-estranged wife told a court that he choked her and caused injury to their children. Parnell denied the claims, though a judge found her testimony credible at a custody hearing.”

Some men and women have no morals and feel no shame.

DeSantis would be a great choice. No one can argue that he isn't eminently qualified (though no doubt, DCUM's finest will do just that).

I’m a liberal who thinks DeSantis is a blowhard….but he’s 100x better than Hegseth. And he will easily get confirmed. Does Ron want it? It will also elevate the Lt Gov to Gov and make her a front runner in 2026

DeSantis would be a moron to take the job. Trump would fire him within a year and his political career would be done.

Agreed. I don’t know why they announce these potential appointments without asking the potential nominee first if they want the job. I can’t see how this would be a good move for DeSantis.
