In the police report the boyfriend is quoted as saying they both have OCD but hers is worse. If someone is genuinely manic you can usually tell it doesn’t take a PhD or MD to know it.

It’s nearly a certainty that Brian had something to do with the murdered married couple and that was a reason she was upset. That area is insanely sparsely populated, just north of Moab is Green River, a town of less than a thousand people. Moab itself has less than six thousand. Green River is on Interstate 70, the nearest towns on Interstate 70 going west are Salina, Utah, less than 3,000 people, and Richfield, Utah, 8,000 people. It is over 100 miles from Green River to Salina. There are zero, zilch, zip services of any kind on that over 100 mile stretch from Salina to Green River on Interstate 70. It stays sparsely populated until Grand Junction, Colorado going east from Green River with only a few services along that part of the route, none from Green River until Thompson Springs, and none after that until Cisco.

The odds that these two parties did not meet, sharing the same at least partially nomadic lifestyle in such a sparsely populated area when there are timelines and photographs that do place them at the same locations at or near the same time, and that Brian Landrie isn’t the creep the couple were referring to and upset by and who murdered them, are infinitesimal.

Personally I think at this juncture that's far reaching. Why did he get a gun from in the middle of nowhere? Why kill them, they didn't look like they had money and they were a lesbian couple so the probably wouldn't of flirted or tried to be romantic with him. Why let their bodies be found out in the open but not Petito's?

Given the circumstances, the area being so sparsely populated, and the proven incompetence and repeated disinterest and even occasional corruption of authorities in countless instances of this general type, I wouldn’t believe any such definitive statement.

He probably didn’t approve of them personally and had serious personality and anger issues to begin with, so it’s not a stretch he could kill both for any reason, including some deep seated prejudice and/or hatred. We know they both have mental issues to start with. Finding a gun or just having one-which would be the only smart way to undertake such a journey-isn’t at all hard. He wouldn’t hide the bodies if it were spontaneous and thought he might be discovered, not to mention it’s not a very easy thing to do. Mathematically, for them not to be involved, if all the other pieces fit, in such a desolate area, would be much, much more odd than if they were.

Moab is a weird place and one of extremes. You have flower power vegan crystal hugging hippies and extremist right wing end of the world alien loving preppers living in the same small community. I bet it was someone from Moab who didn't like they were a lesbian couple.

While Moab may be sparsely populated, Arches and Canyonlands NP had 1.2 million visitors each last year., which was down nearly half a million due to Covid. We can assume there were more this year. You are acting like these 4 were the only people in that area, when in fact there were many, many people passing through.

Another woman notified FBI "She was trying to find a camping spot in the Spread Creek area, and swears she was driving behind Gabby’s van. Brian was driving and drove a bit erratically, and stopped on the side of the road."

Retired Louisiana LEO had a conversation with a man presumed to be BL at Bullwinkles bar.

"Alleged sighting at an Illinois gas station where he was mad yelling and throwing things away from inside the van."

No confirmed sightings in FL.

I think the video with the van has merit but the other sightings I question. This article shows how easily some guy was mistaken for BL so Without some kind of video footage I think those sightings are all kind of iffy
