Thread has derailed. Since posting above, there's much to report. Video of van in Spread Creek area before BL allegedly drove back to FL. It was submitted to FBI and posted to YT. Area is closed off and search is underway. Reddit link at very end.

"YouTube description states: We were editing our Saturday video tonight and we were looking at footage from on August 27th, 2021 around 6:00pm to 6:30pm in Spread Creek Dispersed Camping. We had passed by a white van with Florida plates. We noticed it because we are originally from Florida and wanted to stop and say hi. When we passed the van, all the lights were off and it didn’t look like anyone was there. We ended up leaving because we couldn’t find a spot."

I think the video with the van has merit but the other sightings I question. This article shows how easily some guy was mistaken for BL so Without some kind of video footage I think those sightings are all kind of iffy
