A neighbor told me it was mentioned on Tucker Carlson tonight and that she heard Bill O'Reilly will cover it tomorrow. Don't have confirmation on these though so I could be wrong.

If the victim is also "an illegal", what's that going to do to their narrative?

My narrative is Safety in Schools and observance of our laws.

What's yours?

If it was safety of schools you would know the majority of the rapes are not by Illegal immigrant and you would not be discussing immigration but how to get boys...all boys.... white boys to stop raping girls.

Again, schools MUST keep children SAFE
from thug/criminal predators.

ICE has listed Montgomery County, MD as basically "uncooperative".

What about Freshman that play a Varsity sport and their whole social group is make up of 17 and 18 year olds. Are parent complaining about Freshman playing Varsity.

No. This is 100% based on racism. It is okay for a freshman to go to Prom with the star white athlete... but when it is a Hispanic kid in their class... all of a sudden it's not safe.

Check yourself.

If you don't understand the difference between a parent choosing to allow their 14 year old girl to take advanced classes and being forced to attend 9th grade with 18 year old men then you are beyond hope.

And my son's advanced math class has many Hispanic students Why would you think that only white students are in advanced math? Take your despicable racisim somewhere else.

High schools are swarming with 18-year-old men. If you have a daughter (I have two), and if you don't want her to attend 9th grade with 18-year-old men, then you're going to have to either homeschool, or move to a place that still has junior highs that include 9th grade.

By the time they graduate they will be 21 or 22. You want your 14 year old going to school with 21 year olds? Regardless of immigration & race, there needs to be a better solution to the age gap. I don't think many people were aware of this, which was brought to the limelight by this tragic rape.

The thinking here seems to be that 21-year-olds are inherently a threat to 14-year-olds. Or, specifically, that 21-year-old men are inherently a threat to 14-year-old girls. All 21-year-old men. By definition. I don't agree with that.

DP... I think if your barely 14 yr old DD sat next to a 21 yr old man in class or on the school bus, on field trips, you would start to feel a bit uncomfortable.

21-year-old men are not a threat to 14-year-old girls. Rapists are a threat to 14-year-old girls.

This has blown up because the alleged perpetrators are undocumented immigrants. I believe sexual assault does occur in many high schools in MCPS but is not publicized. Presumably this is to protect the privacy of those involved. The vast majority of assaults don't become segments on the local news.

I went looking on the Safety and Security at a glance reports on MCPS, and in my quick sampling I found that the following schools had a sex related police call last year:

BCC: 2
WJ: 2
QO: 2
Einstein: 1
Kennedy: 1
RM: 2
Blake: 1

Just because you don't see it on the news doesn't mean it doesn't exist. And it absolutely doesn't mean it's only committed by undocumented immigrants.

PP.. I didn't say that all 21 yr olds were threats.. I stated, that you would feel uncomfortable with the situation.

And why not put 21 yr olds with 12 year olds, then? 11? What's the age cut off?

I get that you have no logical reasoning skills... but let's try to lead this horse to some water....

if you daughter is in advanced math Freshman year... Algebra 2
if a boy is not in advanced math he will take Algebra 2 Junior year, he could be 18.

If you don't want your 14 year old girl in class with 18 year olds we should forbid freshman from taking Algebra 2?

See how your logic is lost. You can't just make a rule that 14 year olds can't be in class with 18 year olds.

You are racist because you only care about rapes that involve Hispanic men. You are aware that <10% of rapes are committed by Hispanics... your daughter is less safe with a white boys.

You will not see white on white crime in the news.

OF COURSE THEY ARE NOT DACA PROTECTED. FFS. We know they arrived within the last year. By definition they aren't going to be Dreamers.

It is not just about who sits next to you in class. Kids mingle in the halls, before & after school. it's not that all 21 year old men are inherently bad. It's just not a good set up that 14 year olds are 21 year olds are in school together, becoming friends and possible romantic interests.
