That's why they keep using their titles. Nothing special about them otherwise. |
I can't see them doing those things either. I more meant they could likely get a cushy job through their connections like a behind-the-scenes job in the entertainment industry for Meagan. Is she qualified to serve as a producer or something along those lines? I would think she could swing that if she is willing to work for someone else. Harry currently works as the Chief Impact Officer for a mental health coaching company or something along those lines. There are plenty of "jobs" out there for people with their connections that regular folks couldn't get. |
She didn't seem at ease, I agree. For example, she was pretty brusque with Daniel when they were making those candles, but I think that was just a function of her nerves at being out of her comfort zone. She also wasn't in her own kitchen and didn't seem to know where anything was. I don't think this show cost a lot to produce. She looked lovely and the set was beautiful, but it felt a little clumsy in parts. |
I actually think most of the comments have been pretty tame, even the critical ones. |
With all of the scathing reviews why was it renewed for a second season? |
Some people are claiming Season 2 was already filmed. Also, they say Netflix has some financial connection to her new website business, As Ever, so why not promote her to make the website selling jams and soaps more successful. |
No way. Iâm solid middle class, and I do 95% grocery shops, target runs online. If youâre in Montecito, you donât need the target run. Iâm solid middle class, and we do parks, the neighborhood pool. But I notice everyone in our school (doing better $$ than us) avoids parks. If they own a playset, if they have friends with pools, playsets, an acre of lawn to run on, they would never suggest meeting at a park. Unless they are wary of you, donât want to invite you out. Montecito moms are not going to farmerâs market kid festivals. They are *hosting* essentially the same thing in their yard. |
Even if itâs already filmed, Netflix wouldnât air season 2 if the first season wasnât doing well, they very quick to cancel. See you in the fall (this is when season 2 airs) Meghan haters; she will probably also have a Christmas special to really piss you guys off during your festive season. |
Yes they would. If itâs already filmed, Netflix has already incurred all the cost itâs going to incur and has nothing to lose by releasing it. Also, announcing there will be a Season 2 somewhat counteracts all the negative reviews the show has received (i.e., the show canât suck that bad, it was renewed). |
Well sheâs an unemployed 40 something gold digger, what else is she supposed to do all day. |
Netflix CEO and his wife ![]() |
lol. They are C list celebrities at this point. Nobody cares about these people â especially in a ritzy Cali enclave where everyone is rich and/or famous. |
They're definitely not c list celebs. they're talentless but will always be a household a list name. |
I am not sure why sheâs doing a cooking show. Sheâs not a good cook. I think she should focus on fashion, makeup, and hair. I know she has secrets for textured/curly hair esp with four years managing London rainy weather. I also think her makeup is always tastefully done. Itâs never obvious. |
I donât think her mom is that close to her either but thatâs her mom so she had to be there either. I can see why no black cousins were there. Based on her interaction with Mindy Kaling and âCall me Sussexâ, it seems her pretentious attitude turns off everyone from her immediate family to her in laws. Her half sister on her dadâs side, Samantha, also dislikes her. |
