With Love, Meghan on Netflix

You honestly think Meghan has nothing to do with the problems with the royal family? Prince Harry did not come up with the idea to move to California by himself. She certainly influenced that and the bizarre Oprah interview that has left the family unable to trust them. Harry never would have interviewed with Oprah on his own.

I hope it was all worth it to sell a few boxes of shortbread cookies.

NP- I think Meghan loved being a Princess theoretically, but hated life in the UK and her role there and pictured herself as a royal in the US without the boring stuff. In all fairness there was the cruel press, and the British can be culturally very difficult to stand because they are so incredibly passive aggressive all the time, which is probably amplified for royals. And Harry had always been resentful of William and his role and felt lost. The two together decided on this. He'd never have left if he married within his rich UK pals social circle, or if on his own. They could have a nice life in the US but they just won't stop blabbing against royals. Poor taste with Charles being ill but at this point we are well beyond the Oprah interview and he only has himself to blame for the BBC one.

What was wrong with the BBC interview?
He hasn’t blabbed about the other royals or has he?
I know about the Oprah interview and the Netflix docuseries , he really has been through a lot

Blaming royals for not helping with security issue (something that is not their call), saying he doesn’t know how long his dad has left. He’s just refusing to get that interviews like these are precisely why he cannot reconnect.

He hasn’t been through jacksh!t. Anyone who buys the narrative of Spare or Oprah is a wholesale idiot. And I do not believe in kings or queens. I believe even less in spoiled racist school-cheat lying little sh!ta who feel entitled to armed police protection they may or may not pay for as they serve nothing but their weed habits even less.

Usually those parents are in so much pain they are still thinking of child all the time. Harry doesn’t do either. His crime is speaking out on his childhood experiences all of which most Americans would not subject their kids to. How Charles doesn’t have any pressure to do the right thing is beyond me. Not arguing that Harry and his wife are a not handful but geez they are not bad people.

Meghan told Oprah that the family had discussed in her presence how dark the new baby’s skin would be, while she was still pregnant.
Obviously she didn’t feel welcome when they said that.
Omid Scombie published a book as well and the Dutch version of the book named Charles and Kate as the senior royals who had had that conversation.

They have publicly called Charles and William and Kate racists and all kinds of insults and caused a million different public dramas. You don’t understand why he would want to avoid that? Really? H has used his father for money, to the point of extortion, while publicly lambasting him. I think I’d stay away.

He is a grown a$$ man responsible for his own decisions, how can anyone hold his wife responsible for his choices?

So he will insist on armed security which has not be granted in order to visit his elderly father, who is fighting cancer. He will not get it and therefore continue to be estranged until the King dies. I can’t imagine anyone will feel sorry for him then or care whether Meghan and the kids accompany him to the funeral. I don’t think he grasps how devastating losing his father will be especially without reconciliation beforehand.

She is also doing the same to her father so probably they are okay with it.

I assume that if they’re there, they’re allowed to stay at Windsor? Isn’t Windsor safe?

Look at em all standing there! The Others could never be that lovely. Such glamour!

Where’s the rest of them?

Those are the working Royals only.

It was a lot more fun with the Queen and the overcrowded balcony.

He is a damaged person and the death of his father (if they don't patch this up) is going to break him.

Is there proof? If true what a psycho.

I think he’s selfish and stupid enough where it won’t break him. There’s nothing to break. Harry has been monstrous to his stepmom and whored out Diana stories while also admitting he doesn’t remember her. While knowing his brother also lost their mother. Harry is a terrible person and I’m sure that the status and wealth gain doesn’t fully satisfy Meghan, who is also a family and friend dumping mess of a person.

DP. The British Royal Family is, as a family, among the sickest multi-generational train wrecks in the history of the English-speaking world—up there with the Kennedys. The way they will throw individuals under the bus for the institution would, in any other family with any other business, be recognized as the pathology it is.

Anyone fleeing, even if their motives and execution are not perfectly kosher, is to be commended.
