| I don't get it. |
|
They're rich. Just like Amazon/Jeff Bezos. And we all get to provide public assistance, because employee wages are crap.
|
|
No customer service. No one can ever help you find what you are looking for. Return lines are long. If I do buy anything there I consider it to be “all sales final.”
Unlike many, I’m not bothered by the clientele. |
| full of gross fat people. Why? |
| I like Walmart but wish there was one closer than Germantown. |
| Because it’s cheap Chinese stuff that breaks and then you just end up buying more. THey pay their employees badly (so does amazon) and lots of their employees are on federal subsidies and they don’t give enough hours for full time employment so no health insurance. |
If they're rich, can they pay their employees more? |
Exactly. They extract wealth at the expense of the rest of us. Stores that pay living wages have a hard time getting by because Walmart undercuts their prices. But we have to support their employees through our taxes. And so goes the demise of the middle class. |
They don't want to. That's how they stay rich. |
Yes, they can, but don't. Why? Because they have us to supplement their wages, via welfare. Genius! |
| Most Walmarts look depressing. I do like the one in Fairfax, but it is a long hike from DC . |
| Everyone loves Amazon and they're pretty much as bad as Walmart. They treat their floor employees terribly. |
Ah, yes, the People of Walmart! I have never gone there because I have an irrational fear I will end up in the PoW photo album. Lol! |
|
So who here will boycott Amazon??
And Whole Foods? |
| The only time I went into Walmart, the man behind me in line shit his pants. |
