He may personally be "clueless." I can't speak to that. However, a B license is adequate for the level he is coaching and for just about every other team in the league. There is a coach in the area who claims a higher license but is not a good coach from what I have seen. Youth coaches don't really need a A or pro level license to do their job. |

Well at least they make playoffs. When was the last time an FVU team made playoffs? Aside from the 2010s before they collapse this year. No playoffs = No exposure So which way you prefer? |

| FVU parent here. There definitely was a significant amount of chaos and confusion with the 2011 team this last year, but there already is a completely different vibe with the new coach, very professional and all the girls who are staying on the team seem to be buying in. Yes the team will lose lots of talented players, but this year it feels that they will actually play as a team with better coaching. No need to keep bashing FVU, you just sound like a jilted ex, move on and enjoy these last few years you have watching your DD play club soccer. Hope you find what you are looking for on your team of choice. |

Other teams in the area practice roughly 2.5 more hours a week. Over the course of a league year or 50 weeks that’s 125 hours of team training FVU is not doing. That is a lot of time and a huge detriment to their development and could be the reason the older teams at FVU are not good enough to make the showcases. |

Unfortunately, you have to rely on GotSport which is highly inaccurate (for example Arlington 2013 RL is ranked higher than Arlington 2014 NL) or Soccer Rankings which does give points for both tournaments outside of conference and regular league/conference games. |

So over “the MA is weak”, “DMV players aren’t good”, “DMV coaches are washed”, “DMV doesn’t have P4 recruits”. CSA, VDA, RU are all ranked in the top 25 ECNL clubs. NC Courage normally is too but had a bad year last year. That’s 3/10 NA teams in the top 25 clubs. Use your google. |
