Whats worse - the 18 on the terrorist watchlist crossing the border in September 2023 or the 11 crossing from January 2017 - January 2021? |
What do you think the GOP will do for you. In all honesty. |
I'm going to vote, but not for president. I cannot support Biden and I won't vote for any of the Republicans. I'm done voting for someone I don't support. My first Biden vote was a vote against Trump, but not a vote for Biden because I supported Biden. |
The smart play is to support Trump publicly. He’ll be a disaster, but you want him to know you were in his camp when he starts kicking a** and executing people.
There’s no cost to you if Biden wins. He doesn’t punish people who vote against him unless they actually get caught raiding the Capitol or committing fraud or whatever. But Trump’s embrace of violence will sap the Democrats’ strength. Look at [url=https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/mob-boss-trump-s-threats-to-mobilize-his-mob-are-escalating/ar-AA1jjP2g]how Republican members of Congress are terrified of Trump. They know if they oppose him they risk getting their house bombed or getting shot walking home. They know a heavily-armed Trump person, be it a man on the street or their own ex-military security guy can take them out at any moment. Now turn that energy against Democrat campaigns. Fewer and fewer volunteers. Disappearing bumper stickers and yard signs. Declining contributions from people who don’t want a future President Trump to find out they gave to a Democrat. That’s Trump’s secret: a Mob-based intimidation campaign that emphasizes what happened if he wins. He’ll get stronger and stronger as the campaign goes on and Americans, just like the GOP politicians, realize they better get on Trump’s good side before it’s too late. |
I hold out hope it won’t be Biden or Trump.
I also play the lottery- one of my dreams should come true. |
We certainly need more choice. The Democrats are godawful and the Republicans are worse. There’s clearly better possibilities, but many, including on this thread, refuse to engage the reality and it just might harm them as well. |
Actual lifelong Democrat here:
I have a long memory: never again with Trump. Too many reasons to list. I think Biden is past it and unlike a PP who claims his problem is a speech impediment vs a cognitive issue, I don’t want him to run again. I wish both parties had actual intellectual candidates who aren’t over the hill or crazy (regardless of who you think is which) - this is a country full of brilliant minds and the election coming down to these two clumps says more about how depressing the US political system is than anything else. |
No one is getting shot or their house bombed for not supporting Trump, you absolute lunatic. |
Last paragraph is clutch. The choices are both awful and the country (and the world!) deserve better. A lot of lazy posters here think that we can get out of this without heavy lifting, they can’t even bear hearing that large and increasing numbers of voters are unhappy. |
