Yes, it is. Most posts like this are morally bankrupt Republicans posing as Democrats anyway. There were as many votes cast against Trump as cast for Biden last time. It'll be the same thing this time. America didn't even know a fraction of Trump's criminality last time. Nobody even knows why Trump is running besides staying out jail and a bit of self-enrichment on the side. It's not going to go well for him. |
The prosecutions of trump have jumped the shark. Any notion that it was a legit prosecution not based on politics and trying to get him off the ballot is gone. Even the ACLU is arguing on his behalf that this is going too far. Very banana republic to use the judicial branch to silence your political opponent. The gag order is bananas. The NY judge mugging happily for the cameras is too much. He was giggling. So undignified and unserious. So no, the fact that he is facing multiple criminal charges doesn’t matter to me AT ALL because they are entirely politically motivated. |
Is your position then that no person running for president can be indicted and prosecuted? Or sued in a civil case? In other words, does running for president grant you broad immunity from the justice system? |
It’s absolutely worth it. I was just talking with some friends today about how much better life was 5 or so years ago under Trump. Will we vote for him? No way. But none of us plan to vote for Biden again. One friend even used the term “suicidal” to describe another vote for Biden. Oh and we’re all in NOVA so yea it matters. |
So you’re the worst type of voters. The ones who vote for no one or a third party. If you seriously think life was better under Trump, you’re insane. |
Nope. Not my position. But vague gag orders are unconstitutional on anyone. And timing his trial dates to align with primaries. Deeply political. And frankly charging him for classified documents issued when we know Biden and Pence both had documents and probably also Obama. And prosecutions in NY where charges are brought that have never been brought before. Political. So I don’t think he should get off or be able to avoid accountability but the targeted selective prosecutions of him is rather stunning if your paying attention. |
Democrats are not owed my vote just because they are not Republicans. If they are toward the center, they get my vote. If a candidate is as far to the left as their opponent is the to the right, it's a wash for me. I pass in that case. If being a Democrat is your religion, thats your problem. |
Trump. Lower interest rates, strong economy, energy independence, strong geopolitical position. Biden-bad inflation, open border, high crime, insane energy policies that enrich Venezuela, Nigeria and Russia, and such a weak international stature that Putin marched right into Ukraine and has pulled out of our nuclear treaties, Hamas, China legit just ignoring us now. Yeah. I will take trump any day and every day. I actually fear my son will have to go to war because of Biden. |
You're a clown. You could have just led with that. |
^ this person is a RWNJ. Stop engaging. |
DP. Yes, you do. These slow witted people who really think they’re the most iconic and independent thinkers on the planet have zero grasp of recent history. None whatsoever. |
You and your friends probably all work at American Enterprise or Heritage Foundation and never voted for Biden in the first place. |
Not fair, OP asked a question and the poster above responded. You don't get to call names because you don't like the answer. |
You do the crime, you do the time. But PP's position is that since Trump is running for President, he's immune to any prosecution (because it's all politically motivated?) Like I said, clownish. So fine, PP can stay home, not vote, and sit on their hands. Those poor hands... |
Calling someone who refers to Trump’s multiple indictments as having “jumped the shark” is a clown though. No, the ACLU isn’t arguing that “this is going too far,” they’re arguing that the one gag order was too generic and thus too broad. Given that he keeps witness tampering and committing stochastic terrorism, the ACLU is in the wrong on this one. And none of you can say what Trump or the gop would do to benefit most Americans. We can see what they do now in the House. Undignified and unserious and unconstitutional mugging happily for the cameras. |
