Boy are you going to be shocked when you find out all the racist stuff that Biden has said. But his racism always gets dismissed as a "gaffe". Talk about racist at the top of party leadership. Doesn't get any higher than that. |
Bidens actions over the past 25 years speak louder than his words. People can evolve with their understanding of the world. Yes, Biden has said some cringy stuff. He doesn't peddle in the outright hate rhetoric of the right, or the fringe left. He is more a product of his upbringing who has adapted over changing times. |
No way. |
This makes me want to support Nikki Haley. I can’t stand her politics, but she is not a criminal. |
Most voters are in the blue or red no matter what crowd. It certainly isn't a phenomenon specific to Dem voters. There are as many and likely more people who will vote for Trump only because he is the Republican candidate as there are people voting for him because they actually think he is the best option for POTUS. |
She too will sign a national abortion ban. NO thanks. |
Looks like Blinken is walking back the support for Israel. It's too late. We will remember at the polls. Biden has already lost Michigan. Its damage control time, someone must have ordered an overpriced poll to see that Democrats don't support this effort.
It's too late, you have already lost too many voters. |
DP. But what are his actions? As a black person I can't think of anything he has done for BIPOC citizens. |
This was literally my first post on this thread and I am a registered democrat for many years. I think there is something cognitively wrong with Biden and don't think he was particularly bright to begin with. I morally cannot vote for someone who I don't think is physically able to do the job. I don't want some random person running the show behind the scenes so the democrats need to put up something else or they are going to lose. Gavin Newsom would be my first voice but don't see that being an option. |
Newsom is an option if you want to lose worse than Mondale did. Please try to deal in reality. It will be Trump v Biden, which means you vote Biden or you vote for insanity. |
He doesn't have any cognative issues. He has a speech impediment and he is obviously older, and the rigor of being president has made that worse. But he is the sitting president. Barring a catatrophic event, he will be the Dem nominee. Same with Trump, but on the GOP side. So pick your poison. Trump, Biden, or if you vote third party, Trump. |
BIPOC employment is at all time highs and corresponding unemployment at all time lows. He has nominated a very diverse cabinet and other appointees, particularly in the judicial branch. He has extended funding to HBCUs and scholarship opportunities across the country. That is off the top of my head. I am sure there are other specifics if I had time to google it. |
What exactly would you have him do that benefits BIPOC citizens without also benefitting everyone else? Because much of what he has done has benefitted all of us. |
