Especially a woman known for doing extensive research on everything. That was such a bold face lie. The press was replete with news of his old girlfriends going on record and saying they couldn't live the life required of them if they were to marry him. And, after the Diana interview it was well publicized---the secrecy, the lies, the intrusive press, the inability to live a normal life or speak your mind. Everyone knew that. I don't have a huge fascination with the British monarchy and even I knew all of those things...and I wasn't even wearing a ring on my finger from a Prince. She was a worldly woman in her mid 30s, divorced. Playing the innocent and trying to compare herself to 18-year old Diana does not fly. |
why cant they have passports and driver's licenses? |
So say we all. |
I think if England's economy continues to suffer enough from Covid and Charles doesn't pay Harry some good solid hush money, then yes, I think he could topple the royal family. Kate plays the humble and even thrifty at times public servant well, but William is an entitled ass and without Harry to be the scapegoat, eventually he will not get such good press, nor will his cheating father who could not resist Camilla's blow jobs even on the eve of his wedding to Diana. Add to that they protect a Pedo who needs to go down with the Epstein case ASAP and I think the taxpayers would prefer their money help the poor rather than corrupting the rich. |
At the risk of sounding completely clueless...
Meghan should have manipulated the press to her favor. Couldn't she have worked the press to be in her corner? By befriending a reporter or two, being open within the structure, smiling, waving, offering photo ops-all at her direction. Kind of like Diana did, Diana worked the press (of course it backfired in the end because they loved her too much). But Meghan could have been the modern darling of the press and exerted some control while maintaining security. Just thought. |
Yes!!! She did. |
I think the pressure on Harry as William's only sibling shows that more is better. Kate should have another, maybe two or three more. |
I haven't been participating much in this thread but here are my takeaways from the interview:
- Is MM kind of a fake clout chaser and a drama queen? Seems that way. And Harry's kind of an attention seeking drama queen too... they're clearly a match made in heaven. - Is the BRF a bunch of cruel, cold, racist jerks who will shield a pedophile and many a cheater but not a mixed-race daughter in law and grandchild? Also yes. |
I had the same thoughts. |
this made me chuckle! i don't know why i expected to come here this morning and find anything other than hatred. still blaming meghan. smh. |
And what led to that? Regardless, what you think happened and what Harry thinks happened are two different things. |
Maybe. But Kate is the future of the BRF, not William. His job will eventually be to wear a crown. Her job is and will be to mother the country. Up until now, she's been doing a good job of moving into the role. We'll see if Harry topples her. Or not. |
I just don't trust a single bit of the UK press any longer. I mean, you can tell there are some writers who are unbiased. But I don't trust anyone extremely-for or extremely-against M&H or the rest of the family.
They twist and twist the actual truths. I'm sure some things are dramatic, but so much of the real story is less sensational. |
Yes on both counts! |
